This is a beautiful hotel, very elegant. The staff is nice and tried to help with multiple issues with our room. The breakfast on the first 3 days of our stay had a wide array of choices so we were always able to find something to our liking. On the last day the buffet was no longer available. It's offered seasonally. We really appreciated the tub/shower combination in our room. After walking for hours, it was wonderful to soak in the bath. The tub was rather high off the ground and may have been challenging for some to get in and out of. This wasn't a problem for us.
We wouldn't stay here again. We selected a larger room and it was beautifully appointed but didn't function well for us. The room had tall ceilings and very little lighting and as we were up early in the morning (for four days) and returned after dark, it felt like a cave to us. The bathroom was nice but poorly lit so it was hard to see in there (even with the addition of my own lit makeup mirror). The worst thing about the room was the low bed and quality of the mattress. It was clearly past its better days. We did ask if they could do anything to make the mattress less soft and we think they attempted something as it felt slightly different and when we asked for better lighting they put in brighter bulbs. We appreciated their efforts but when you're paying over $3,000 for a 4 night stay, you expect better. We will be traveling for almost a month on this trip. We arrived at our next hotel, no issues at all. This only confirmed that our room at the Rosewood was difficult. Lovely but difficult. We always read reviews before we book and we're writing this review so that if someone needs good lighting and a quality mattress, they'll know what to expect.

The hotel is huge,l and the elevators are only located on one side, so some rooms are very far away and the layout can be confusing. Some rooms and bathrooms are quite old, with noticeable plumbing/noise issues.
Cleanliness was my main concern. I was given two different rooms that had hair on the bed, and the first also had food left on it. I was eventually upgraded, which I appreciated.
I also had a payment issue after extending my stay, as I was charged twice. Overall, the hotel is okay but definitely not worth the money.

great location with privacy and quiet neighborhood. very helpful and polite staff. walking distance to many attractions. excellent variety of open buffet breakfast menu. tube station close by. very clean rooms and whole hotel. beautiful building with historical details.
bath tub height from floor was so high. it was very difficult to get in and out. which may cause accidents.
our room a/c fan was sooo loud, we needed to turn off at night during very hot weather which was uncomfortable.
