As we moved to the location, Roman the receptionist was quite friendly and helped us understand the facilities around the place. The rooms were amazing ? exactly same in the picture. Dinner was lovely ? server named Manisha was quite helpful too... Overall worth a staycation.....

Dining area and drinks is always good and great service
The fragrance used for body wash, lotion is just not nice and worthy of such a high standard hotel (in my opinion) and not as good as previous visit earlier in year.
Combined with sauna not working...I won't visit again unless I hear all is up and running.

The service from the breakfast Xmas eve team was fantastic. They were so friendly and welcoming along with the good food such that eating was really nice. Thank you.

The reception area and location was good.
The room was very dusty and not cleaned properly, we stayed here a year ago and was a lot better, they no longer provide slippers and robes, the sauna was also not working.

Everything else was ok.
This is the first time when I stayed at this hotel and found it quite clean, but I was shocked to see that the only closet in the "room" is actually in the bathroom.This was unexpected and haven't used it for that purpose.
Also I had to ask for the vat invoice 3 times, in separate days until I received one as one of the old employees insisted that booking.com should give me one, not the hotel, which was also disturbing for my trip.
There is also no metro line from One Canada Square to the hotel, so had to take a bus.

We choose a river view which was incredible. Very clean and spacious.
Breakfast- we booked breakfast with our stay which made it a little cheaper. Long queue when we arrived. No one to seat you. Breakfast was extremely disappointing. No cutlery or cups on the table had to go and find out own as no one to ask. Coffee machine wasn’t working had to find a staff member to help waited 10 minutes to find a member of staff Had to wait 15 minutes for any hot food to be ready even then not all the food items were ready by the time all food was ready breakfast was cold. Would not recommend to have breakfast at this hotel. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I liked that for breakfast they had fresh eggs in stead of egg in a carton. I also like the location.
For the price of the room, there was nothing special. The facility is old and my room was dirty and moldy. The sheets were even stained.

Reception staff were exceptionally friendly and chatty. Our room request had been noted and granted. The twin room was a good size and had all we needed in it. The bathroom was very large and had a great shower. The beds were extremely comfortable and the hotel was quiet so we had a great nights sleep.
The location was not great for us. We had booked as had seen it advertised as close to the O2 arena, where we were attending an event. However it is close as the crow flies, being across the river and not walkable The receptionist informed us public transport would take some time and require changes so we did have to spend on taxis.
