Poor
My stay first impressions, I was pleased with the hotel clean, funky, great location.
I was staying in a room with no windows, I chose this style as I don't sleep very well and need darkness. Early hours of the morning I was woken with what sounded like heavy rain, which confused me as there were no windows, I then felt lite specks of water, I turned the lights on to inspect and saw water pouring from the celling near the bathroom. I rushing to get all my belongings together, the water started getting heavier, I turned the bathroom lights on to gather my toiletries and inspect further, water was pouring through the light and gathering on the floor.
I went immediately to inform staff near the bar, showed the video and told him there was a waterfall coming through the celling in my room, he seemed a bit confused and thought I wanted to check out. I stated no I wanted to get some more sleep in a new safe room. Another staff member went to inspect presumably to see what I was say was true, neither of them seemed to be concerned. I wasn't offered any condolence or comfort for what felt like ages waiting for him to returned. I was offered a new room, which wasn't even like for like as it had huge windows with curtains that didn't work properly and a bit broken. Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep.
I went out in the morning to get some refreshments, came back and the key card did not work. I went down to inform staff, explained what had happened in the early hours, I wasn't offed an apology or compensation.
I wrote a complaint the return email informed me that it had previously happed also. I was given an apology and offered a 50% discount on a further returnee before November.

A really good place to stay, the location is great, close to the tube. Super helpful and polite staff. We had dinner on a couple of occasions, very nice. Breakfast was also good with a nice and relaxed atmosphere.. The bathroom pod in the room was brilliant too.
Unfortunately the beds were not overly comfortable

The staff is excellent, very kind and helpful. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable. Excellent breakfast in a cozy funky atmosfere. The Aldgate East Station is just 2 min.across the park, The Tower Bridge and Sky Garden are just a 10 min. walk from the hotel. Great location, wonderful staff, good breakfast and cozy eclectic room made my stay in London even better. Tnak you!
The shower head is fixed on the ceiling and it is a little hard to shower without getting your hair wet. And I don't want to wash my hair every time I shower. It takes eterity to dry it

Very nice service staff.
Nice atmosphere in the lounge area.
The room was worn out and in need of cosmetic repairs. The bathroom door didn't really close, and it was unpleasant to be in there. Everything was worn out and sloppily repaired. The bathroom had a dirty feel, even though it was clean.
