Very Poor
Location was decent, 12-15 min walk to Big Ben. But that was the only thing I liked about this hotel and definitely not recommending. There are far better ones for this price point in the same or an even better location.
I accidentally booked an additional night and because I prepaid for my booking they were not flexible at all with changing the dates, I let it be, but everything just went downhill from there. First, I didn’t have any shower gel in any of the containers in my room for the entire stay (neither bath nor in the shower), they were never refilled throughout my stay (3 nights). Then the worst part, I used the container with the “shampoo” which I’m most certain was in fact shower gel or hand soap because my hair and scalp dried up so badly and I lost a fist full of hair trying to detangle it. I also have a medical condition with my scalp and that caused a flare up. I used ESPA shampoo before and this was definitely NOT shampoo. I often use drugstore shampoo too and never experienced anything like this. The cleaning was not what you’d expect from a 4 star hotel, I had black hairs (I’m blonde) in my bathtub and dried up residue when I arrived. My used shower cap was taken away and never replaced in any of the days (at least leave the used one there if you don’t intend on giving me another one since I didn’t throw it away myself). I was looking forward to using the indoor pool but I had no robe in my room, figured the hotel does not provide it but then saw other guests heading to the pool in robes and the list goes on. I left feeling disgusted, disappointed and with a red itchy scalp. Definitely not recommend and not staying here ever again. When I brought this to their attention at reception during checkout the manager was inconsiderate even though the initial receptionist wanted to offer me the refund after hearing about my issues for the night I wasn’t going to spend there anyway. Also, if you don’t upgrade, the only view you’ll have is of another building/hotel and you can see in their room as they can in yours, so you’ll have to always keep the blinds closed if you intend on having the light on.

General location. Good quality of toiletries.
Not a four star hotel. Rooms were dated and compared poorly with volume chain hotels. Basic drinks and snacks offering. Confusing light controls, no slippers or gowns. Not enough plugs and poorly positioned.

Excellent staff and were very helpful with storing luggage, also helped us arrange an uber and gave very insightful information. Rooms were nice and cozy, everything was spotless and clean!
