All staff were lovely and very helpful with helping my mum bring our luggage up to the room and back down when we left which left her to concentrate on me in the wheelchair. It really makes a hospital app trip not seem as bad when we stay here with lovely staff and service

Didn't manage to get riverview again but my room was decorated with birthday ballons and a lovely card.
My cake & procecco arrived too late and we had to go out so didnt get chance to enjoy it whilst getting ready whuch was the plan.

The breakfast was fine, the second morning we were later than usual and the cooked breakfast, apart from the beans wasn't hot. Great selection though.

Disappointing
The staff were welcoming and professional. The scent of the toiletries were delightful. I liked the ability to dim the lighting in the room. Location was excellent. When we expressed displeasure management followed up with an email and an offer for a room upgrade if we stay again within the year.
Unfortunately we were not happy with our stay. We could hear the entire conversation of the neighboring room, including the person on the phone call. The pillows and beds were uncomfortable. The room was hot even after adjusting the temperature to the lowest setting and we couldn’t open a window. The shower overflowed and soaked the bathroom floor. There were no markings on the shower for hot/cold and annoying to get the desired temp. I got up early (715am)for breakfast as they indicated this was a quieter time. I was hoping to enjoy the view from the window, this was the main reason I booked here. I asked to sit by the window but was told no as I was one person and they wanted to save these seats for larger parties when it was busy. The property had an overall appearance of a nice hotel 15 years ago.

The family room with kitchenette was a great size and allowed meal flexibility for a family with younger children whilst still being in a hotel. It was close to Vauxhaul tube station which has a great food plaza. Great views of Big Ben.
Reception at check in was significantly slow given that this was a completely pre-paid stay. Our concerns about the AC not working fell on deaf ears so the room was stuffy and overwhelmed by food smells from the kitchen even with the window open. Multiple elements in the room were broken/missing or in a state of disrepair. For example, the shower head did not connect to the wall properly, the mixer did not work well, nor the toilet buttons,the seal on the fridge was hanging off, the bed side table was significantly broken etc. Overall, whilst the cleaning staff were friendly and attentive the room was dirty. Being so hot, we took the duvet out of its cover to use it as a sheet to find the duvet covered in stains including fresh blood. The towels were a bit frayed The kitchenette was great but consisted of one dirty pot (no lid) and an egg flip. There was a combo washer/dryer but it was a bit moldy, had a stagnant smell and there were minimal instructions on how to use it properly - we did a lot of cleaning. The use of the pool was complicated with kids and we didn't end up using it. The buffet breakfast whilst it had great views was sub standard for the price point of this hotel. We had better breakfasts at Comfort Inns in similar areas of London. This was the last hotel in a six week European and UK trip where we stayed every night exclusively in hotels of similar brands and calibre. This was by far the worst overall.

Great stay- lovely clean and modern hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, super comfy bed and great spa area. Good location short walk from Vauxhall or Waterloo.
Spa area got a little busy and not really enough room to swim when kids in pool .

Wonderful
We have stayed a few times and love this holiday, especially the restaurant on a Saturday evening, we refer to it as 'our happy place'.
There are no mirrors at all in the room (only that bathroom), which makes it really difficult to apply make up and blow dry hair. Also the aircon is awful, at night the room was far too hot, I definitely wouldn't stay in the summer because of this.

Breakfast was fine. Location good.
Room had a big wet patch in the carpet, Air conditioning did not work, I.e did not blow cold, no mugs or cups were in the room for coffee, at check in there was no understanding of what a credit card deposit meant for additional hotel services or costs. Express laundry was not delivered on time and took 4 discussions to sort it out. After a credit card deposit was arranged, this was not passed on to the hotel services.
