Location
Box rooms, blocked views of aircon units. Having asked for two rooms next to each other (when booked it and in person at reception), I still got two rooms opposite sides of the floor. Pretty shambolic.

The view
The breakfast buffet tasted ok but wasn’t hot….the food was barely warm. Also you had to get your own coffee from a machine. Most 4 star hotels have a person that brings your coffee to the table. The towels in the bathroom were very rough, not soft at all. Their room service menu for their full English breakfast listed black pudding was available to order . When I asked the guest relations person they said they don’t have black pudding. They shouldn’t advertise it if they don’t have.
Seeing I paid for a suite with a river view & balcony I expected better quality & service for a 4 star rated hotel.

That I didn’t get a river view. I requested it when I called however I don’t remember if I booked it through the hotel or booking.com so I don’t necessarily blame the hotel

A comfy bed, once it was made into a double bed.
The location is great.
Online check in did not work, so I had to check in again when I arrived.
Check in at the hotel took forever.
Finally get my room key and go to my room to discover it is a twin room not a double.
Go back down to reception, they explain then can put the beds together to make it a double bed. So they kindly did that.
Breakfast is busy as ever! I feel that because I am a solo traveler they put me in the worst place in the restaurant, when I can see there are lovely window view tables available.
This is my worst experience staying at this hotel. I have stayed here twice before, but this time has definitely made me reconsider booking here again...

The service was excellent and professional. Close to a 5 stars.
The location. Because the main criteria of our reservation with you was the location and we asked for Westminster. This hotel is on the other side of the Thames clearly outside of Westminster.
