The beds were better than most hostels I’ve stayed in. Clean, organized and each bed has multiple outlets and reading light. Having a free meal offered everyday was nice even though I didn’t partake. Staff were friendly and allowed storage of luggage before check in.
The bathrooms were tiny, I know it’s an older building so it’s not really the staff’s fault but the space between the door and toilet was very small and it made changing after showering very difficult. It’s a very social hostel and they want you to use WhatsApp for your room code and I guess to communicate what activities that you can do. All of this is fine and I think very helpful for someone who wants to see major spots in London with a group. I personally didn’t want to use the app since i wanted to explore on my own, so it was a little awkward to have to tell them that. But they gave me the code for the door and room so it wasn’t an issue. Check in took quite some time because they had to clean the rooms and then they personally escorted you to your bed. So if you’re very jet- lagged and arrive early it can be several hours before you can sleep in a bed. So just keep that in mind.

Very good. All the staff, especially Fran, Michael and Zoe! The people are ao nice and receptive. The hostel is on a great location and close to metro station. Is so nice!!

I stayed at this hostel with a friend and we absolutely loved it. Everything was perfect: the hostel was spotless and the location couldn’t be better.
The staff were amazing – super friendly, helpful and always in a good mood. There are activities and parties organised all the time, which makes it incredibly easy to meet people, make new friends and have loads of fun. The atmosphere is fantastic and we felt welcome from the very first moment.
I would 100% recommend this hostel and would definitely stay here again!

The community at OneFam is the absolute best. Because almost everyone is travelling solo, a connection is instantly made. The free family dinners also bring everyone together and are always very delicious. The bed I slept in was also very comfortable which you would not expect for a hostel. All in all a great experience!
Some of the facilities were a bit weathered but in an older building in Notting Hill it can be expected.

The property was clean and well organized. It had all the amenities you’d need for a comfortable stay. The beds were soft and had curtains for privacy. The showers were clean with good water pressure. The kitchen was small, but everyone was adaptive to share burners/counter space.
The staff were friendly and generous. (Shoutout to Michael, Antonio, Beau, Chloe, Will, Laura, Arlos and everyone else on staff….Hector is alright.)
Lots of free social activities to be apart of! Such as free dinners, walking tours, and pub crawls. The closest tube stations are a 10 minute walk, but a lot of the major attractions are within walking distance (I.e. Natural History Museum, Victoria and Albert, Hyde Park, etc.) There are also plenty of supermarkets close by, along with good restaurants and coffee shops.
I’d highly recommend staying here to get the most out of your London trip.
It wasn’t an issue for me, but if you’re someone with mobility issues, some of the rooms are located on the 5th floor with no elevator. There is so separate changing space in the showers. So your clothes either get wet or you exit nude. The toilets and rooms can be a bit cramped, though it’s London it’s kind of expected.
