It was my first time in London and my second time staying in a hostel (my first experience was just three weeks earlier in Lisbon), and it was such a great experience!
First of all, the welcome was so warm and friendly (shoutout to Lucy! ?). As an introvert, this is really important for me to feel comfortable and at ease.The hostel is also in a great location, which is definitely a big plus! And finally, the activities, nights out, parties, etc. are just amazing and make it so easy to meet people and really get into the London atmosphere! It was honestly a great experience and I highly recommend it!
P.S. As a woman travelling solo, I felt completely safe, even though I stayed in a mixed dorm and used mixed bathrooms.

Also very friendly and generally the place is very socially active, they make it more than just a place to stay the night, but a place to have fun as well
Location is great, nice to walk around and close to metro and bus station too

For a hostel in London, this ranks as one of the best for me! A good blend of personal space (I love that my bed had a curtain), and spaces for community gathering in meeting other travelers or the like. The staff are friendly (shout out to Mikey & Maddy who were super helpful and made me feel so welcome).
There are events that get planned and good communication to keep everyone in the loop through a WhatsApp group if you want to join others in the local scene.
It’s in a great location in the Nottinghill area as well.

Great location, friendly staff, lots of activities. Price was really good, beds were comfy!
Rooms were small and storage was not ideal, the bathrooms were not kept clean and were also very small. Prior to our arrival we were unable to modify our checkout date which was frustrating, property told us to contact Booking, Booking told us to contact property but there was no resolution.

The staff really makes this place! They were so welcoming and friendly. It was also easy to meet other travelers. I really liked the location - quiet area close to the tube station, bus stations, and walking distance to MANY places to eat. Also walking distance to Kensington Palace/gardens and Hyde Park. The area felt safe as a solo female traveler. It was easy to climb onto the top bunk, and beds had a curtain, outlet, and personal light. Nice common area that I was able to hang out in until check-in. I didn't partake in family dinner, but I think it's great that it was offered! The entire hostel was VERY clean.
One of the worst mattresses and pillows in all the hostels I've stayed in. Walls are thin and noise travels. I didn't like that I had to go to a separate floor to use bathroom/sink or find a shower. No air conditioning, though I'm assuming this isn't such a problem if you don't come in July.

Beds were comfortable and staff are extremely friendly. Very easy to socialize with others but there is also no pressure to if you are not feeling up to it. Located in a great and safe neighborhood of London.
Room got pretty hot during London heatwave but found that to be the case inside many businesses and museums around the city as well.

Location, people, everything. 2nd time here and it’s definitely one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in.
Only fault I can say is how hot my room 102 was but that was because I was in London during a heatwave so there isn’t much that they can do to help that.

A weekend for the ages! Met so many great people and had such a blast. This was my first hostel trip, but I can’t see it getting more social or fun than this. Can’t wait to come back. Big shoutout to Maddy who was beyond friendly and welcoming. OneFam is indeed a family!
