Very Poor
The bed was comfortable
During my stay I fell ill so I wanted to order room service as I didn’t feel like going out to eat. I tried to call room service multiple times in the morning, afternoon and evening but every time I called no one answered and I was put on hold for an hour or so. I tried to call reception but no one would answer so I kept trying, finally a lady answered and said she would tell room service to give me a call right away. I waited 30 minutes, still nothing. I called reception, again no one answered, after trying multiple times I asked to be transferred to the management team. The Indian night manager was very rude and kept making excuses for the lack of service instead of apologising. Overall the service was horrendous and not what you expect from a 5 star hotel. I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times and it has gone downhill since my first stay in 2024.

Such a lovely hotel — super clean, great location near multiple tube stations, and the rooftop is amazing! The whole team were really friendly, but Paul honestly made our stay. He was so welcoming from the moment we arrived, always had a smile, and gave us the best recommendations for things to do in the area. You can tell he genuinely cares. Breakfast was great too — overall just a really relaxing and enjoyable stay. Would 100% come back!

Good rooms. Good atmosphere.
The phone in the room does not work. THe communication with reception was difficult (they do not pick up when calling from the room phone but also when calling from cell phone). Fortunately, my matter was not urgent (we just needed room service), but imagine that something serious happens...

The staff...all were very lovely, helpful and friendly. They are definitely what made my stay feel special. And it was all of them...not just one.
I'd asked for extra towels which never turned up...but that was only a minor thing.

Location- near tube and walking distance to Shoreditch etc
Check in was very functional- no information on restaurants, pool etc.. First room was very hot and controls didn’t work. Second room was better. This is not a 5 star hotel. Very expensive for what it was.
