Location
I booked a room for 3 adults and when we arrived there was only one dbl bed in the room. We went to the lobby and they offered us to change to junior suite and pay extra 200 pounds pr night. We already paid for triple room as was recommended on Booking.com. This is the most expensive hotel I have ever booked so I was not ready to pay more to be honest. We got extra bed in the room and then it was really very little space between the beds. This extra bed was not acceptable for an adult to sleep in. There were only two cups, two glasses and two bathrobes in the room. So it looked that we did not get what we booked and paid for. We woke up at 8 with room service opening the door and we asked if they could come later. They came again between 9-9:30 and we again asked if they could come in two hours then we would be out of the room. When we came home in the evening no room service had been done, dirty towels on the floor and no drinking water. I booked a rather expensive 5 star hotel and was going to enjoy the weekend with my friends but was disappointed with the stay there. We did not book a breakfast but ordered room service, a light breakfast, two omelets, two mimosa two shots of ginger, bowl of berries and a plate of fruits, the total cost was 150 pounds, there was even a trolley fee. In general the stay was disappointing.

Never again !! Housekeeping and cleanliness are way below standard such as hair under the sheets in your bed, clogged sinks that flush dirt out .. to non working heating in the room, non working mini bar (our diabetes medicine got ruined) and instead of upgrading the room due to these events, they brought an external heater .. got a small extra fridge all while the smell from the kitchen of cooked food filled the room every day … HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE !!! Never again !!!

This was one of the worst hotel experiences of my life. I spend +120 hotel nights all over the world and this definitely ranks as one of the worst: Foreign Hair on the mattress, skin residues, clogged drains, heating not working on one of the coldest weeks in London, very bad housekeeping in general. Mini Fridge not refrigerating and our diabetes medicine inside it !! What more? Potato chips debris under an uncleaned bed? Not to mention that some rooms the shower cabin doesn't fit a normal person, so we had to change the room. We were on the 7th floor and still the cooking smell would infiltrate the room making it so "unfresh". Despite all our complaints, we only got a visit from the Housekeeping Manager apologizing from us and presenting us with a tiny fruit bowl !!! Any other hotel would have offered at least an upgrade.
