The hotel was amazing. We were somewhat hesitant because we thought the hotel might be too traditional for our taste but every aspect of the hotel exceeded our expectations. Our room was ample sized by European standards. The towels, sheets, bathrobes were all outstanding. The breakfast was amazing but most importantly the staff were so polite and helpful. We requested the complimentary coffee service in our room and they promptly delivered a wooden box with coffee , fresh milk in a bottle and two small french presses . Every evening they delivered fresh milk and more product. The hotel added a 20 pound per day service charge to the bill and frankly that was inexpensive relative to the quality of the service!
The gym has just adequate and could have had more equipment.

This hotel is exceptional in every way. Truly a 5 star experience but what makes the stay here even more wonderful, is the staff. I cannot point one single person out specifically as everyone is just fantastic, kind, helpful and courteous. Will be coming back when in London. Well positioned and close to everything. Thank you Milestone for a memorable stay.
Not really a critism but a concern as it was raining everyday I stayed here but do feel the doorman should be inside and not standing in the cold. I’m the throes of winter he must freeze every single day and do feel he can just as easily open the hotel door from the inside and as the doors are glass, he can see hotel guests arriving just as easily but it’s not a critism just a concern for his welfare

Good location especially for visiting the Royal Albert Hall and the Natural History Museum. Room was spacious, very clean and well-appointed. All the staff we came into contact with were very efficient, helpful and friendly.

We enjoyed all aspects of the hotel. Jorge the manager was elected and took care of our every needs. We very much enjoyed our room #411, it was actually larger than we expected. Breakfast was outstanding, with a number of great options.
We had two rooms one for my wife and I and one for our son. Our son's room had a shower in a bath tub which was a little unusual for a high end hotel. We also were suprised that you were charged to use the sauna, pool etc.

Small hotel good and polite staff
There is no manager on site to take initiatives.
Staff doesn’t have any authorities and all decisions are made by the main office.
Housekeeping was too slow and one time there was no service at night.

Room was beautiful, staff were exceptional. Whole experience was wonderful, from the moment you are greeted at the door by the doorman (who was very knowledgeable on local amenities) to checking out. The hotel itself has been exquisitely decorated, and feels luxurious. The staff are just a level above, nothing too much trouble but not overly so, they get it just right. We will definitely be returning and cannot wait to stay longer. The only food we tried was the breakfast and this was lovely.

The bar was like nothing we've seen before in renovated old stables. The breakfast rooms were small, cosy and beautiful designed. We can't wait to stay again!
The wifi in our room didn't work. I had to go down to the lobby to do any work.

The Milestone is in the top tier of elegance and refinement. The staff is friendly and helpful. They are genuinely concerned about their guests in a way that the large chains could never duplicate. The level of elegance is unmatched by the mass hotels. The breakfast is sensational as is the bar. I went there for a drink on our third night and got into great conversations with the three servers. The front desk and concierge people were also great. If you enjoy old fashioned elegance this is the place. The location in Kensington, just steps from High Street, the Kensington Palace and the Royal Albert Hall and across the street from Kensington Gardens is also great. We were in London for the first time and took the bus ride around the city, and the bus stops right outside the door, which was convenient. To put icing on the cake, Noel Coward stayed there, and the day after we returned home, we saw "Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale," in which Coward plays a central role.
I liked almost everything about this hotel. The room was small.
