Good location A stylish building that seemed recently modernised. Nice decor. Very comfortable mattress. Surprisingly quiet given its position near a busy road.
Expensive. Small room. Lumpy pillows. I fear the room fittings were “style over substance” as the door handle in the bathroom was already chipped showing the underlying metal.

Clean , friendly, close to most places
We were woken up early on the Sat 29 Dec approx 5.30 am by continuous loud beat music , all morning until we checked out, room 138, I did mention to reception !!!

The room was comfortable and the hotel was in a great location.
We decided to eat in the restaurant. The starter was very good. However, I found the main course disappointing. Overall it was quite pricey.
We had to pay £50 to reserve a table and we were told this would be taken off of the total bill when we paid. The staff put the dinner charge on our room, so we could pay on check out. When checking out the staff member said there was a total of £112.37 to pay. I said that this was incorrect as I had already paid £50. Which was taken from my bank immediately after booking the table. So, it should just be the remaining £62.37 to pay. Not the full £112.37. Initially after checking my bank account the remaining £62.37 was debited. So, I put this down to a breakdown in communication.
However, I have checked my bank details again today and a further £62.37 has been debited from my account. I now have to email the hotel to see if I can get a refund.
I am obviously not happy at being overcharged and I now have to spend time trying to obtain a refund. Quite frankly I wish we had eaten somewhere else!

The elevator and corridor old , the door for the room old , the hotel needs improvements to enhance the building’s overall condition.

The room was a lot smaller than what it looked like in the picture! The bathroom was difficult for both people to be in it at once

The hotel gave me a room without a bathroom door and said it was a standard feature not a flaw, even though the door had hinges and connectors showing (maybe it used to have a sliding door?) They eventually agred to change rooms, but not other compensation.

Property had quite a few issues. I had to move rooms due to no electricity in the sockets then no covers on the mattress just the sheet for hygiene and comfort this wasn’t ideal. I also had maintenance enter unannounced after telling them to come back, no warning of maintenance attending the “new” room with no electricity problems. I was also left with a snotty note from maintenance telling me to turn the socket on… as if this wasn’t tried already.

Nice central location and staff are friendly
Sadly photos of a deluxe double room are misleading of the space available. There was approximately 20cm between the bed and wall in our room so you had to squeeze past sideways and anyone bigger would need to crawl over the bed to get to the other side. Can’t fault the staff, could have had a bigger room in same location for less money

Excellent location for what I wanted to do in London. Breakfast was very good. The food at bar 35 was very good but a little expensive.Staff generally good, concierge was excellent and extremely helpful. Other than a disappointing check in the whole experience was very good.
After emailing to ask what time I would be arriving ( assuming that a room would be ready) I was curtly told check in wasn’t until 3pm and to go and sit and wait. During the ensuing 58 minutes I didn’t see one other person turned away all other guests were given room keys!
