Wonderful
Staff were exceptionally helpful when our flight was cancelled and we needed to extend our stay.
The hotel bathroom shower stall had a big leak in the corner. A little sprucing up on these details would be in order.

Pleasant
I liked the location, the restaurant, and the bar.
My room was very small. I am glad I was there alone because 2 people in that room for 5 days would definitely not have worked. You have to maneuver in the bathroom to get out of the way of the door to reach the toilet, which is extremely annoying, especially in the middle of the night. The room was run-down. And the walls were so thin I could literally hear entire conversations word for word.

Wonderful
We like the location with a tube station just outside and the Regent's park within a 2-minute walk.
We also really enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the bar area.

Good
The location is excellent! The hotel is close to 3 tube stations. The on-site restaurants and bars were great. Room servicve was wonderful. Housekeeping was helpful and prompt with all requests. The gym was also great.
The mattress was far too firm and the pillows were too thin. We both had trouble sleeping each night as such. There was quite a bit of noise from the bar downstairs and nearby rooms at all hours of the night.

Disappointing
Location was great, friendly and helpful staff
Terrible breakfast with poorly prepared food, often empty, coffee machines not working, long lines outside breakfast area due to overbooking. Shower broken.
Extremely little sound proofing between rooms.
Loud techno music everywhere

Very Good
The Melia was in an excellent location. Close to underground transmission, near Regent park and close toany restaurants and bakeries.

Good
Hotel did agree to hold our luggage for a couple of days after our stay even though we weren't returning for another night -- this was very kind of them and saved us a lot of trouble. Attractive room and lobby area -- though very noisy and bustling with lots of Spanish sports fans.
Breakfast should have been outstanding for the price and was merely adequate and crowded. Very expensive place -- but given the location -- central London, this is to be expected.

Good
The location is great
There were towel warmers in the bathrooms, but I couldn’t get them to work.
Many control panels for requesting an elevator were not functional.
The HVAC in my room made a loud annoying noise for about an hour one morning.

Disappointing
The mattress bed very comfortable
The elevator and corridor old , the door for the room old , the hotel needs improvements to enhance the building’s overall condition.

Fair
The hotel gave me a room without a bathroom door and said it was a standard feature not a flaw, even though the door had hinges and connectors showing (maybe it used to have a sliding door?) They eventually agred to change rooms, but not other compensation.

Very Good
Room was modern & clean with nice Rituals soaps. we got a corner room which was ideal for a good view. house keeping was good and left us complimentary fruit platter on first night stay. great Gym and yoga room. Close to Tube station. overall a good experience
It is a bit over priced for the size of the rooms but then again hotel prices in London have gone up a lot. wish they had a full body mirror since we were getting ready for a wedding. shower is a little problematic because it gets the entire shower room floor area wet.
