Very good service, all staff were very helpful whenever I needed something. Good variety of food at breakfast buffet. Everything I needed was available in the room such as facial tissue, kettle, complimentary tea and coffee, dental kit etc. Loved having street view at the gym!
According to the quality standards of the property and the price, I expected complimentary water in the rooms. Only one bottle was complimentary on the day of arrival.

Staff is top level, honestly whoever recruits and trains these people knows what they are doing! Everyone was so welcoming, polite, professional and lovely! Really wish them all the best and to be proud of their work! Great location to where we needed to be during our stay and quiet! Hotel was lovely, aroma was amazing downstairs, bar was good, interior was good, room was very nice, all the personalised little detail were lovely, made it more special!
Only thing we didn’t like that extractor fan in bathroom didn’t work but that was not such a big deal for one night. There could have been iron in the room.

I usually have a great stay in the Melia White House, the hotel is very well located, the staff are really wonderful and the ground floor set up is a beautiful welcome to the hotel .
The hotel staff are aware of the situation, but I’m disappointed they haven’t followed up with me as I expected them too. I checked in quite late in the day and on arrival my room there was so much wrong but it was so late not much could be done without affecting my opportunity for sleep, bathroom was dirty to the point when I wiped a counter it was black, sheets did not feel clean or fresh, sewer smell from the open plan bathroom was so strong it woke me up throughout the night, no power in the sockets beside the bed. My room was changed for the second night and customer experience were very kind and forthcoming about it, but no real acknowledgement of my first night stay which made me feel hugely uncomfortable particularly the sheets and how tired I was though work meetings the following day. I usually love staying in a hotel particularly a four star and particularly the Melia White House, but this time I lay on the uncomfortable mattress just wishing I was at home.

There was considerable noise coming from the corridor, and the door was not adequately soundproofed, so the disturbance could be clearly heard inside my room.

Location. Friendly and polite staff. Free mini cakes left in evening.
Room was basic, needs a refresh, marks on walls and window paint peeling. Very noisy - traffic/ neighbouring guests very loud talking early morning. Not soundproofed. A small Ikea pillow. Basic hostess tray - no coffee maker though it says on room facilities, no biscuits had to ask for more teabags, milk and water.
