Good
Great breakfast with a large choice for everyone.
Hotel needs a little upgrade, scratches on walls, broken stones at the elevators.

Staff were nice
I have sent an email to complain about our stay a week ago and have not received a reply nor an acknowledgement. I have filled in their review questionnaire and opted to be contacted but, again, have not been. Maybe this review will be worthy of their attention?
We were sent a scam text prior to staying. Booking.com said they reached out to the hotel several times but the hotel did not reply: that should have been all we needed to know about their communication.
The restaurant and bar were closed during our stay and we were not told about this prior. On the first day breakfast was served in a venue across the road. We then received a note to the room door saying breakfast service would not be available on the second day but had the option of getting "breakfast boxes" during a reduced time frame. These lack of facilities were not what we paid quite a bit of money for. There was no offer of any sort of compensation for this.
The hotel was very noisy and walls this - we could have joined in the conversation with next door.
The room had patches of paint in a different shade where they had tried to repair.
The "luxury" they are trying to portray is a facade.

Have visited Melia White House many times as the location is good and the hotel is lovely. Easy transport routes are virtually outside the door giving access to London's many attractions. The staff are exceptional and very helpful making every day a joy. There is a good bar and restaurant plus breakfast is amazing.
At £50 the overnight pet charge is very high compared to other hotels and although a cosy bed is provided with 2 bowls, that is it. The staff make up for this as everyone talks to him and he loves it.

The bed was comfy, nice location. Very clean room
Breakfast was prepared way in advance, black pudding was horrible, could not bite. The room was decent, but many appliances didn't work (coffee machine, electrical sockets).

Very Poor
I contacted the hotel several times before my stay, including in person, to request a date change. My emails went unreplied and i while i was told in person that a date change would be possible and i should contact booking.com nobody at booking responded to me until after the original date and i was then told that a date change was not possible
Unresponsive to request

Pleasant
There was a problem with the restaurants during our stay, so one morning breakfast was in another building, the next day it was a takeaway bag with stale pastries.
Also we had paid for a level room and the level was also closed.
