Only positive was a decent breakfast. The rooms are old, badly kept, nothing like the pictures. It needs an urgent renovation. It not lives up to the Marriott standards. Quite shameful actually.
The maintenance is poor, room is dirty, furniture is scratched and aged, phone doesn’t work (or nobody wanted to pick up). It took me 30 min to get an extra towel. Really considered changing hotels but London was crowded over the weekend. Does not live to Marriott standards. I only booked because of Marriott’s reputation and the pictures in the website. Very disappointing.

Location was great. Close to paddington station and oxford street. Room was spacious.
Room furniture was old and outdated. Limited breakfast option. Room service took ages even though we only asked for plates and cutlery which took a very long time to come. Staff seemed laid back and not as efficient as one would expect at a high end hotel.

The AC was not working we had a portable device in the room that was so noisy, and the window had to stay opened for the tube to pass through. Room change was offered the next day but was inconvenience as I had my stuff out.
