The location was fantastic! From the entrance to the lobby and reception to the food, room, and checkout it was a wonderful experience.
There was nothing I did not like, but would have pointed out a small issue with the flooring near the bathroom entrance.

Location was perfect and the staff was so kind and helpful.
Our room was so hot. We did get a fan delivered but it really did not help.
This is not a 5 star hotel. Rooms need updating.

Very Good
Location was great. The staff were friendly and efficient. The bar staff were excellent! Hotel employee took the time to make our visit memorable. But, the entire staff, from the doormen, to the front desks, to the bellmen were wonderful.
The rooms were not, in any shape or form, 5 stars. The bathroom was minimal, and the towel heating rack did not work.

Central to all key tourist spots in London. The Dilly boasts classical architecture and authentic vibes. The rooms are spacious and comfortable
The placement of the rooms within the hotel can be odd, along with various spots of needing to go up and down a few steps to continue along the hallway, but this is a very old building and The Dilly did its best with the bones they had to work with.

The location is central and unbeatable.
It was extremely dirty - we found hair and makeup on a robe that was clearly not washed, a fake eyelash by the sink, stained towels, and red lipstick on a drinking glass. The room was tired, the bed very uncomfortable, and the bathroom was dingy.

Poor house keeping - hair in the ba th from the previous guest! Worn fixtures - bed panel had its cover coming off as it was worn. Great location though but a tired building.
Asked the bartender to make me a cocktail which he did and was nothing like it should have been.

Our room was in serious need of updating. Also asked for a fitted sheet and nail clippers twice and never received either. I think calling this hotel 5 star is a bit of a stretch. Solid 4. there are nicer 5 star hotels in London.

The location, the signature smell ( so fresh and refreshing), the concierge is wxtra helpful and the bar is superb.
You can't control the heat, and it's pretty cold in London
