Good
The welcome from the staff and the little touches put in the room were very gratefully received!
The rooms are a bit dated and certainly not very sound-proof, and obviously the reception is undergoing renovations at the moment.

Pleasant
Great customer care team, who made our trip very special. Great location, easy access from Heathrow and right in the heart of the city.
The hotel is undergoing renovation so lounge area off reception is not available. Some construction noise etc around 8th floor.

Location
I asked for a quiet room, there was a water tank above my room which was really noisy all night. Tv didn’t work. Sauna and gym need updating

Poor
The hotel staff is very nice, polite and kind. Great location.
This hotel is advertised as a 4-star property, but in reality it felt closer to a 2-star experience. The rooms had a dusty, musty odor, and the rooms had no proper ventilation, which made the smell even worse. The carpets were stained, the furniture was outdated, and overall cleanliness was disappointing.
One of the most frustrating parts was the lack of a proper phone system. There was no landline in the room to contact the lobby — instead, guests were expected to scan a WhatsApp QR code for communication. The only phone present was oddly located in the bathroom and seemed more decorative than functional.
To make matters worse, the fire alarm went off repeatedly during our stay, including once in the middle of the night, waking guests up in panic. In an emergency situation, not having a direct phone line to the front desk felt unacceptable.
That said, the lobby staff was pleasant and welcoming, and guest service at the front desk was one of the few positive parts of the stay.
Overall, this hotel did not meet the standards expected of a 4-star property in terms of cleanliness, comfort, and overall upkeep.

Location fantastic! The room was lovely and spacious, with comfy beds, although the bedspread was a little small for the king-size bed. Concierges were very, very informative and helpful.
There was construction at the hotel, and we would have liked to have been informed before our stay.

Great location
Power tool construction work was taking place in the next room, and the same wall that my bed was against, and still they booked the room to me. I asked to move, and whilst I moved I couldn’t even go to a lounge to chill, as this was also closed for construction.
Basically there’s no comfy spaces other than the rooms themselves. Book the Londoner instead until this hotel has finished renovations.

Wonderful
Everything went well. Fabulous reception at check-in plus a room upgrade. Hotel is located adjacent to a venue we were visiting with friends that evening for a birthday celebration which continued in the `Piano' bar until late.
We thought the charge for breakfast was excessive.

Absolutly everything! There is nothing not to like, the staff are friendly and attentive for all your needs. We had a free room upgrade and the size of the room was amazing.king size bed, sofa and still lots of room. The ensuite has a powerful shower over the bath. Even though they are going through a huge refit at no point did we hear any noise or distruption. Our room was 236 and it was on the front, the windows give so much light and we cannot thank them enough for the welcome. We had chocolate, banners, dilly bear, sparking wine on arrival in our room which is another lovely touch. Thank you for making our 2nd anniversary great. This is the 3rd time staying at The Dilly and we will definatly be back again. The location is amazing, so central.
I havent got anything to say for this subject..there is nothing to dislike.

Poor
Hotel staff were great, and location is great. Has the ingredients for a lovely hotel. Rooms ok, perhaps a little tired.
There is a lot of building work happening. We stayed in room 220 and well before 9am on Saturday morning (8th May) the drilling and construction started. Really loud and directly outside our room, making it impossible to sleep. This was supposed to be a special occasion for our anniversay, but spoilt by all the construction noise and so early in the day!

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The bottle of wine and chocolates brought to our room courtesy of the hotel was a wonderful gesture and surprise. The doorman is a great asset to the hotel and very knowledgeable about the local history. Fantastic stay. Thank you.

Great location, room was so quiet for central London and it’s location. Great sized room modern bathroom and super comfortable bed. Lovely bar for late night drink. Great range of tasty breakfast and mid day check out calls for a lazy morning.
Extra special treats for my husbands birthday surprise which was a great surprise and Don very much looked after us too! Will come back and utilise the wellness area.
