Great location and complimentary upgrade to a suite, a very nice surprise with bottle of wine and plate of fruit! Location was fantastic and the room was ready earlier. A very good personal welcome by the room maid - Fantastic.
General condition of hotel was looking tired, the upgrade which was really a nice touch was looking old, everything a bit tired, returned from walking round shops late afternoon to a freezing suite, to cold to sit in lounge area and to cold to get changed, called reception to being told heating was now turned off! A small single heater was brought to the room just as we were heading out for the evening. Only heated bedroom nothing else. Breakfast was spoilt by endless people on handfree phone calls so doesn't the breakfast listening to private calls! Staff not addressing and finally on check out we weren't asked if everything was ok!

As with every other time i have stayed at the Dilly it was honestly perfect. from the warm welcome on arrival, to remembering i love a quiet room with a bath. and the flowers on the bed and chocolate srawberries - wow! I am usually booking into the Dilly following a row with my boyfriend (over share but true!) or an early start at work, so neither overly positive reasons, but the Dilly turns those reasons into a positive every time. The beds are so comfy, the swimming pool is just unreal for central London and the staff have none of the snootiness of some London hotels. 5* indian as room service also is just the icing on the cake. i didn't have the breakfast this time, but have in the past and it is amazing. Can't wait until the next row or early start :@)
the only tiny fault is the lifts are slow in the morning so leave enough time if you are in a rush, but that is most hotels at breakfast time

The room was extremely dated and clearly in need of renovation, the bathroom was in poor condition, and the windows did not open, which made the room uncomfortable and poorly ventilated. Additionally, the reception experience was not pleasant. The staff member at check-in was not friendly or welcoming, which set a negative tone from the beginning.

Disappointing
Location was perfect.
Very hard to open windows, dirty windows. Toilet flush didn't work properly, big chip out of bath. A fridge wasn't included in the price, but there was one in the room that didn't work anyway. You had to keep your finger on the button of the hairdryer for it to work, the room wasn't serviced the first morning, never got clean towels until 6pm. The corridors smelled dusty and old. Also, had to pay a £50 deposit at check-in that wasn't on the Booking.com website, which I still haven't got back. Window looked onto Regent Street, which must be the noisiest street in London, even after Midnight. I would not set foot in this Hotel ever again, it is NOT a 5 Star Hotel. £800 for 3 nights, absolute RIP OFF!!
