Great location. Very friendly staff. Free room upgrade upon arrival and very pleased with the display Nelisa set up for a birthday treat.
Definitely not a 5* hotel. Run down basic rooms. No one attending the front door. Had to ask 3 times for someone to come look at the room as it had a foul smell. Plug socket in room didn't work. Photos online show a bath yet there wasn't one in the room. Massive shower with a tiny shower head. States a landmark view in the superior king room, definitely not the case as my room looked out onto other rooms. Just not what I expect at all from a 5* hotel and highly disappointed. I've never felt the need to do a bad review on any hotel I've stayed in. But this one was extremely disappointing.

The twin superior room was next to the swinging doors and all we heard were the doors banging so little sleep. We asked to be moved and ended up with a much smaller room that we were told was still a superior room even though there was not much space.
We didn’t like the small supposedly superior room but the hotel was good apart from that.

Fabulous location and wonderful staff along with generous sized quiet rooms and pool and gym/spa facilities .. the hotel is embarking now on a renovation that will bring it back up to meet the beautiful architecture inside. Loved our stay

The Hotel was perfectly located for our needs - the rooms were large and the bed was one of the most comfortable we had ever slept on in any hotel. staff were all friendly and the facilities were better than we expected- we will be back.

We were impressed when we entered our room as I did tell the hotel that it was our anniversary. They decorated the room for us and then room service delivered us a bottle of prosecco and afters, which was a nice touch.
There was a few minor issues such as on the left hand side of the bed there was no sockets for charging a phone. I like to sit at a mirror to do my makeup, which I could not do. Due to our room having a connecting door, you can hear everything from the room next door.

Location, the public spaces are pretty nice.
The room was very dark, not very clean, ordering room service had very long waiting times, the staff were polite enough, but they always seem like they see you as an inconvenience (except for the man who sorted my luggage and taxi. He was brilliant!), the halls often had dirty food trays that would not be collected for hours.

Wonderful
Perfect location- just seconds from Piccadilly Circus and important streets for sight seeing. Rooms is smaller than expected but with all necessary equipment that you may need. Breakfast is on perfect place and atmosphere.
Bar and restaurant are ofd fashion and need new design
