breakfast was extensive and all staff aimed to please with asking what you wanted and noted closing times in advance. I even got the special bread with seeds that I asked for when it was not on the serving table,

The staff is always amazing and thoughtful. They are simply best and that is why I always return to this place. They have the attention to remember you when you are back and make you feel safely at home. Rooms are very comfortable.

The location was exceptional. The room was clean. It was a decent value for the money. The lobby had iced drinking water and fresh fruit out, which was nice.
I received a message prior to arrival asking if I had any special requests and specifically mentioning early check in - which I did request and never received a response. When I arrived after a red-eye flight, there was no early check in. If it wasn't available - then don't offer it up or reach out to me so that I expected it. Further the room was very warm. There was a heat wave, so this is understandable. They did bring a fan up on the second day, which helped along with the temperatures dropping. Overall the staff at the front desk was not particularly helpful and detracted from the overall stay. From the lack of early check in, to the lack of concern over the temperature - it was not a good interaction. However, the worst interaction was on the last night when we came in after a show and I asked if there was anywhere to get food. Rather than state that most places were closed, or explain what was or wasn't available in the hotel - the clerk behind the desk literally laughed at me rudely and told me to order uber eats.

Cute room welcoming, nice cool room during heat wave, lobby smelled nice, Indian restaurant on site.
Dated worn room, loud creaking uncomfortable bed, Nespresso didn’t work properly, no water pressure, hard to figure out water in tub, took forever to get US plug adapter.

Pretty, “hystorical” hotel in the at the heart of lindon! Very supporting staff and super clean. Helped me aurprise my wife for first year wedding celebration, did great efforts! Thanks a lot

Breakfast was lovely, amazing room and decor. Room was nice an clean, bed was massive and very comfy. location was perfect for central london and surrounding areas.
There was work being carried out right outside our door by builders, with materials in the hallway we had to navigate past and dust and debris.

The location and the historic past of the hotel.
The prime restaurante offering Indian cuisine. It was a beautiful decorated bar and restaurant , but at the end of the day , I would like to enjoy the traditional English food at the hotel .
