With a superb central location between Piccadilly and Regent Street, this historical central hotel features spacious, elegant rooms provide everything you need for a stay in the city center. Stylishly furnished, the spacious rooms at The Dilly feature private bathrooms with bathrobes and cozy slippers. Guests can enjoy free newspapers, as well as a refrigerator and 24-hour room service. The Dilly is just 10 minutes walk from the shops of Oxford Street and Bond Street, while Piccadilly Circus is less than a 5-minute walk. Leicester Square and Covent Garden can both be reached in 10 minutes on foot. The Health Club at The Dilly has a steam room, and guests can exercise in the state-of-the-art gym and squash courts. The Dilly also features a dance studio available for private hire or dance lessons. Terrace at The Dilly restaurant has an outdoor terrace overlooking Piccadilly. Afternoon tea is also served here with child-friendly menus for the whole family to enjoy. Experience the flavors of India at Madhu's restaurant located in the hotel's Oak Room. The Dilly has seven meeting rooms and event spaces. The hotel is unable to accept contactless payments. A physical card is required. As we approach our 120th year, we are delighted to announce the beginning of an extensive renovation program that will restore our hotel as one of Piccadilly’s most iconic landmarks. From January 6th to May, our main entrance will be temporarily relocated to Air Street, where our team will be ready to welcome you as always. Madhu's Restaurant will be closed from January to April, as it undergoes its own renovation. Guests can continue to enjoy breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner on our beautiful terrace throughout this time. We are committed to ensuring every stay remains memorable and we look forward to unveiling our beautifully transformed hotel spaces and sharing this exciting journey with you.

Love the location, have had great experiences in the past and have had good service
The property did not adequately provide an overview of the degree to which renovations impacted the current quality of the hotel. The entrance and foyer was a construction zone, staff was very preoccupied and the rooms are not being kept up. We had 2 chairs and no couch in our room and when I inquired about more seating, I was initially given a rolling desk chair. My last stay involved amazing service. I hope the Dilly gets there again.

Location. Liked the lobby except for the construction. Front lobby staff pleasant. Bed very comfortable.
The TV screen turned on by itself every couple hours in the middle of night. Confusion of their outlets- coffee maker and kettle not plugged in and it wasn't clear what outlet to use, they were all different.

The only thing that was great about this property was the location
my partner and myself seen 2 mice on our 3 night stay we wore having a drink in the bar area when a mice ran past us and another we seen as we wore walking back to our room I went to run a bath and the bath water was a mixture of yellow and brown so dirty For the money we payed for our stay which was €829 was absolutely disgraceful not worth it at all

Lovely building and location but very dated in places and lacking luxury touch
Poor quality room for the price, looks dated and overused in places. We were upgraded to a suite but the noise at night from something on the roof and a old radiator was disappointing

Location was great next to lots of shops and very in the city , close to Buckingham palace
The bed was Extremely hard and not comfortable and the pillows were so soft they didn't hold form so the combination of the two left me very sore sleeping on them. Also I was told multiple times since it was our honeymoon our room would be upgraded and we would have a room decorated for us and none of that happened at all. Also the reason I booked was because of how pretty the blue lobby looked and it had so much personality, when we arrived the lobby was newly renovated to be cream/white and just very bland looking. Still getting excuses from staff as to why our experience wasn’t different along with conflicting statements via message that was complete opposite of what was said in person. Nothing has been done to rectify our disappointment or experience and quite honestly with the customer service along with our stay, I wish I booked elsewhere for our honeymoon as this has dampened our trip and it’s something I won’t forget when I think about our time there. Very saddened and truly just a shame because they could’ve made our stay so much better if their customer service was better, conflict resolution was better and if we actually received all the amenities we were told multiple times.

Wonderful
It is so central . The staff are friendly and helpful . We had a fantastic room with treats .. wine and a sweet dilly teddy . Also a selection of chocolates. This was all totally unexpected. Breakfast was really good . The renovation work was unobtrusive.
Very small niggle , but I had to tuck in my bottom sheet on the bed . Also the iron didn’t seem to work . There is no telephone in the room but we were given a number to phone for guest relations
