With a superb central location between Piccadilly and Regent Street, this historical central hotel features spacious, elegant rooms provide everything you need for a stay in the city center. Stylishly furnished, the spacious rooms at The Dilly feature private bathrooms with bathrobes and cozy slippers. Guests can enjoy free newspapers, as well as a refrigerator and 24-hour room service. The Dilly is just 10 minutes walk from the shops of Oxford Street and Bond Street, while Piccadilly Circus is less than a 5-minute walk. Leicester Square and Covent Garden can both be reached in 10 minutes on foot. The Health Club at The Dilly has a steam room, and guests can exercise in the state-of-the-art gym and squash courts. The Dilly also features a dance studio available for private hire or dance lessons. Terrace at The Dilly restaurant has an outdoor terrace overlooking Piccadilly. Afternoon tea is also served here with child-friendly menus for the whole family to enjoy. Experience the flavors of India at Madhu's restaurant located in the hotel's Oak Room. The Dilly has seven meeting rooms and event spaces. The hotel is unable to accept contactless payments. A physical card is required. As we approach our 120th year, we are delighted to announce the beginning of an extensive renovation program that will restore our hotel as one of Piccadilly’s most iconic landmarks. From January 6th to May, our main entrance will be temporarily relocated to Air Street, where our team will be ready to welcome you as always. Madhu's Restaurant will be closed from January to April, as it undergoes its own renovation. Guests can continue to enjoy breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner on our beautiful terrace throughout this time. We are committed to ensuring every stay remains memorable and we look forward to unveiling our beautifully transformed hotel spaces and sharing this exciting journey with you.

Nothing except the location.
Filthy, old, noisy. Even though the hotel was going through renovation, one would expect some upkeep and cleanliness in a 5 start hotel!

Disappointing
This property has seen its day. Without Marriott oversight the property fails. No heat in the rooms, so space heaters are required. Telephone didn’t even work. Room near loud elevator.

i have stayed at this hotel before and it was very good this is why i have booked again
the hotel is under renovation, I believe it is better to not accommodate people when work is ongoing for this my review is based on the bad experience, we had especially the rooms we stayed at were very old to a certain extend that we felt the floor was going to fall down to the other room. Also we have a problem with the accounting they charged us extra 2 rooms and i have been in contact with them until today no reply.

Wonderful
The staff were very attentive and welcoming. We had a beautiful welcoming decoration in our room. We loved the pool and the sauna, and the evening lounge, which was still open on our return from the theatre.
The room was fairly hot and we couldn’t cool it. I’m sure housekeeping would have solved it if we’d have called them.

When we arrived at room 718, the bathroom was filthy, after two days the sink and toilet were clogged, so it was fixed the same day. On 22.01. we went out at 11.00. and put a sign on the door that the room could be cleaned, we came back to the room at 13.30. and then it was not cleaned, after a few minutes room service knocked and we told her that she could clean even though we were home which she did not want, five minutes later the phone rang about five times and we could not answer (no one answered when the tool was picked up) immediately in front of the house probably (manager) of the cleaning service came and almost kicked us out if we wanted to have the room cleaned which is not good

The room was old, not comfortable, and cold. They gave us a heater. Breakfast: Fair, not much alternative kitchen, The hotel is under renovation, but there are no business rooms or a lounge, which is too bad.

The room was fairly large with a large bathroom
1. Being informed of all the construction only after we had made a non-refundable booking is bad. Bluntly, the facilities currently available are not those of a 5 star hotel. 2. The TV in our room was broken. The screen goes black annd it turns itself off after about 10 minutes. Obviously the staff have not been checking things. 3. We asked about afternoon tea at the reception, and one of the staff looked up the details and told us it was open until 16:30. Fortunately we went early because the kitchen closed at 15:30. 4. The room made my wife sneeze. She does not have allergies, with the exception of our room. 5. The sheet in our room suggested relaxing at the piano bar -- except it had been let it to a private party. This is far below what we expected, and far to expensive for the available facilities.

Location is amazing. Staff were very nice. Cozy bed and the swimming pool and steam room are great.
Room was nice but very warm, air con didn't really work. The breakfast ran out of some food and there was a long wait until it was replenished. Also a long queue for the teas and coffee.

The room was extremely dated and clearly in need of renovation, the bathroom was in poor condition, and the windows did not open, which made the room uncomfortable and poorly ventilated. Additionally, the reception experience was not pleasant. The staff member at check-in was not friendly or welcoming, which set a negative tone from the beginning.

It’s Location. Staffa are helpful and friendly .
The hotel is poorly maintained. The facilities are far from what you’d expect from a 5-star hotel. Ex: The bathroom sink was blocked and couldn’t be fixed during my stay. Overall, the experience was not meeting the expectations for a property of this rating.
