With a superb central location between Piccadilly and Regent Street, this historical central hotel features spacious, elegant rooms provide everything you need for a stay in the city center. Stylishly furnished, the spacious rooms at The Dilly feature private bathrooms with bathrobes and cozy slippers. Guests can enjoy free newspapers, as well as a refrigerator and 24-hour room service. The Dilly is just 10 minutes walk from the shops of Oxford Street and Bond Street, while Piccadilly Circus is less than a 5-minute walk. Leicester Square and Covent Garden can both be reached in 10 minutes on foot. The Health Club at The Dilly has a steam room, and guests can exercise in the state-of-the-art gym and squash courts. The Dilly also features a dance studio available for private hire or dance lessons. Terrace at The Dilly restaurant has an outdoor terrace overlooking Piccadilly. Afternoon tea is also served here with child-friendly menus for the whole family to enjoy. Experience the flavors of India at Madhu's restaurant located in the hotel's Oak Room. The Dilly has seven meeting rooms and event spaces. The hotel is unable to accept contactless payments. A physical card is required. As we approach our 120th year, we are delighted to announce the beginning of an extensive renovation program that will restore our hotel as one of Piccadilly’s most iconic landmarks. From January 6th to May, our main entrance will be temporarily relocated to Air Street, where our team will be ready to welcome you as always. Madhu's Restaurant will be closed from January to April, as it undergoes its own renovation. Guests can continue to enjoy breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner on our beautiful terrace throughout this time. We are committed to ensuring every stay remains memorable and we look forward to unveiling our beautifully transformed hotel spaces and sharing this exciting journey with you.

Everything. It was our 10 year anniversary and the guest services team went above and beyond. They left a message on our mirror, swan towels and petals on the bed, chocolates, fizz a lovely note. We were also upgraded and although the rooms are more on the traditional side, it was clean, comfortable and you can see how they're trying to update it. But I hope they keep some of the classic traditional decor like adding it to the wallpaper or elements of the furniture because it's still so lovely. The bed is very comfortable and my hubby was elated that we had a room with a bath. Please don't get rid of all the baths, it's one of the best parts of the stay for my hubby! We also had our elderly dog with us and they were so amazing with her,she was very loved. The staff were exemplary, couldn't do enough for us. Yes they are doing work so you didn't get thd grand entrance BUT I had been there before and I'd seen it, but my husband hadn't. Just an excuse to go back again to show him, I wish we'd stayed longer!
Maybe just that we missed the grand entrance due to heavy works being done, BUT we completely understand this and it was stated in several emails and before booking. So we weren't surprised by it.

The hotel went above and beyond all expectations, we stayed for my sister's birthday. We were upgraded at no extra cost, thay had decorated the room, a bottle sparkling wine and some chocolate coated strawberries. Breakfast was lovely, lots to choose from.

The check in staff were amazing - I got an upgrade on my room which was so lovely. I loved the room - it was super comfortable and the location was absolutely amazing!
The staff in the bar were rude. I went in for a drink half an hour before they were scheduled to close and she seemed so annoyed that I was there and said they'd already called last orders. She then said I could take a drink to my room if I wanted which I said yes to but then they automatically added service charge on to the drink. I thought this was excessive when I was already paying a premium price for a drink that I wasn't even allowed to drink in the bar itself.and when they had made me feel very unwelcome.

Such a good location. The staff were so professional and personable - really lovely people, especially Paul (the doorman) who was so chipper. I should also mention breakfast at the terrace - delicious.
Some building work taking place within the reception area was somewhat inconvenient however, the staff managed around that very well. Other than that I have no criticisms at all.

I really liked the hotel, especially the clean and comfortable room. The location was very convenient, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

The location suited us very well, it was central to the things we wanted to do. Our room was welcoming, and the bed had been adorned with a welcome banner. The hotel was clean and quiet. The Terrace where breakfast was served was light and airy and the breakfast was good.
The hotel is currently undergoing reburbishment, so we didn't get the full experience. We did know this so no criticism. The bedroom had not been refurbished yet and it did need it, carpet threadbare in places, bathroom very tired. We had a large bed which was probably twin beds linked. However the duvet was too small to cover both of us. It just about covered the bed when the bed was made, but when you put two adult bodies, and we are not overweight, it didn't cover us both unless we both slept right in the middle. Otherwise, comfortable. No drinking water provided on day one, so we thought this wasn't hotel policy. On day 2 it was, but day 3 not. Policy needs to be clear and adhered to.
