Poor
Its location is ideal for a night out.
I get that it is old but there is a limit!
Badly decorated, water stained carpets, stuffy as hell, the windows in our room opened up into a tiny courtyard full of extractors and what not so only hot air and noise came in when you opened them.

room was upgraded, really great space, clean and had everything you could want, the hotel went over and above to welcome us and make our stay great. it was in a great location and really central as well as easy to get to
better lighting in the bathroom for ladies putting on makeup or a mirror at the desk/dressing table space for this

Wonderful
I could not have asked for a better location, which is within short proximity to all major attractions and next to a main underground station. The breakfast is something to look for and make sure you take it as a good option, with freshly cooked eggs prepared to your choice. The breakfast area is bright and feels like they brought the outside inside.
I booked a slightly above-average room, and I can only comment on what I had: it was spacious, clean, and with excellent amenities. Although we received an email from the hotel advising of maintenance work, it was carried out with little disruption to guests and, most importantly, no noise at all.
There was only one minor negative issue, which had more to do with the maintenance work.
The area outside the lift is closed up, and on Tuesday, they decided to paint the temporary partitions, and quite a few people nearly got paint on their clothes. They could have left it till after 12:00 midnight instead of painting it at 19:00, risking paint on guests' clothes.

Fair
The afternoon tea was great once they accommodated the dietary we required
The member of staff serving us on that day was lovely
When I contacted the terrace restaurant the encounter I had on the phone before we arrived the gentleman was rude and wasn't going to change the sandwich selection for us which was needed due to allergies
The staff on the reception desk when we arrived weren't very helpful we had booked in the spa and for afternoon tea the restaurant didn't open till 12.30 they told us it was 12.00
There was nowhere to wait apart from in the entrance which was cold, we had booked in the spa and our clothing for this was in our cases we had to open our cases in the entrance where other guests were to take them out not private at all.
The spa treatments were not worth the money we paid
The pool area was very run down the steps down to the pool from the ladies changing room were dangerous the tiles cracked sharp and missing
The room was cold had to get portable heaters for the room and not enough plug sockets

Good
The rooms were spacious, and the location couldn’t be better.
Unfortunately, my experience with some of the staff—starting with the doorman and a few receptionists—was quite disappointing, as they came across as rude, and at times, the interactions felt point-blank dismissive. The sound insulation between rooms was also not ideal. The main reason for my rating is due to Mr. Selim Atias, Senior Guest Relations Manager, who was responsive and helpful when I reached out to address my concerns about the service.

Poor
The location is fantastic and the bed was really comfy.
There were building works taking place when we stayed. The room was lovely but also quite dated - I wasn't able to sleep due to the fan not working properly and the room being incredibly hot so in terms of comfort it wasn't the greatest.

The location of the hotel is great
Currently undergoing renovations on key areas of the hotel but overall it’s a very dated hotel and needs alot of investment to bring it to a strong standard across the board

Pleasant
Breakfast was tasty, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The room was small, poorly laid out, and felt quite worn (the carpet was damaged in several places). The mattress was uncomfortable with very noticeable springs, which made it hard to sleep well. There was also very little storage space in the bathroom, and it was inconvenient that there was no power outlet near the coffee and kettle station.

Wonderful
I stayed here for my birthday and upon my arrival I found the room decorated with birthday wishes and a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate. The property is located in a central position, just a few steps from the underground entrance, the venues of Piccadilly Circus and the shopping street of Regent Street. It also offers various opportunities for sports, with a swimming pool that my family particularly appreciated.
The room was spacious, but with 2 small windows that made it not very bright; I would have preferred larger windows. Additionally, the bathroom didn’t have a shower, only a bathtub.
