Staff quite rude and argumentative on check in, weird “spa” facilities that you had to ask in advance for and then were closed some of the time for cleaning or something. On site restaurant was closing or being refurbished so able to get food on the first night but it was limited food (which was fine but not the best) and pretty lousy service.

All in al l everything was of a very high standard. Breakfast of poached eggs was adequate and I felt very safe here. Communication was very good, invoice was supplied as requested so thank you.
Overall nothing to be sad about at this hotel!

Harsh at reception was amazing and very reactive to mine and my Mother’s needs.
The room was comfortable and clean.
Breakfast the first morning really wasn’t good. It almost seemed like we were two hours late as everything was gone or gone warm. We were really disappointed. This was significantly better on the second day.
The breakfast room is an Indian restaurant at night time so you are likely to smell of Indian food after dining there.
It was expensive and they were going to charge us 15£ more for an hour for late checkout which I found somewhat opportunistic
It’s such a shame that there is no lounge where we could have spent a few hours after checking out.

Good location for Canary Wharf. 4-5min walk to Poplar if that. Staff at reception and kitchen were very friendly. Sausages were nice. The place is certainly clean. Bed was comfy.
So basically this place isn’t set up for business travellers : 7am breakfast start is a bit late and I was the only one there even when I left.
The property itself suffers a little from structure : the bedroom wall shakes as people walk up and down the corridor (older properties have this sort of situation - I doubt it’s feasible to fix). The room was a little chilly with the AC turned to heat - that’s a concern for the cooler weather (I mean it’s September right now and actually warm outside but still chilly indoors). Perhaps that is remedied in other ways.

We received a warm welcome from the reception team and every time we entered the hotel they were very welcoming. It was very clean.
It’s a heritage hotel that has been renovated but the style feels cheap and does not compliment the history of the hotel. The bed was cheap along with the bedroom decor, it felt budget and lacked style and elegance. We went down for breakfast at 9am and there was no food left really, she went to bring some out but we felt unwelcome and a burden, we decided to go elsewhere.
Location wise it did not feel overly safe for 2 female travellers, we felt scared returning late at night with people handing around on the side street and speeding up the road on bikes and hiding their number plate. I would not return here.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and the facilities were good overall. Easy location for Canary Wharf.

Helpful and friendly staff which made the stay pleasurable and memorable, thank you Mustafa. I left my Apple Watch in the room and they reached out to me and told me about it. Clean and beautiful room, unfortunately didn’t had time to try the Spa and the gym so I can’t comment on that but everything else was pretty good.
