Great location, close to Poplar for access to Abba Voyage and Canary Wharf. Friendly staff and excellent breakfast and restaurant.
Room a little tight in size but due to extra large double bed. But not an issue

It was great value for money
Convenient for getting to canary wharf entertainment
We chose the room with a staircase to the bedroom which didn’t work well for us ( but that was our fault)

The hotel was lovely and in a great location near canary Wharf. The room was lovely and the building was a grade II listed building in great shape with a beautiful interior. The staff were helpful and the room was very clean with all mod cons available. There was use of the gym and sauna/steam room included too with robes and footwear provided. Breakfast was good value at £15 located in a nice restaurant where the staff were also helpful. It was very peaceful with no road noise outside. I would throughly recommend this hotel to anyone!
The only things that I could find fault with ,were a blocked sink and a lack of shower gel/hand lotion, but to be honest it was nothing really, and told the staff who would get these things resolved immediately.

Good room size for London (suite 103); good water pressure and well equipped bedroom.
Spa was closed, breakfast on a very restaurant, lack of cleaning on room carpet. Paying a deposit that is not yet returned as it takes 2 days from them to process plus -your bank- 2 week delays.

The decor outside our room and inside was beautiful; I enjoyed the photographs and links to the history of the Lansbury family. The room facilities were clean and very modern.
The hotel guests do not have priority for booking meals so we missed out on making a booking at the restaurant. However, the restaurant manager felt sorry for us and squeezed us in. I think it might be best that when checking in, guests are encouraged to book a dinner reservation I. Case they are disappointed; the food is amazing!

Great location and gorgeous building, walkable distance to Canary Wharf . The onsite restaurant was exceptional for our main meal. Loved the bathroom - it was large and clean. The first receptionist was very helpful as was the cleaning lady. The notion of the sauna room is ideal, we had to wait for it to be heated up, which also entailed going to the main reception in my towel , on the floor above) to advise that it wasn’t heating up (less ideal).
The heating did not work via the controls, we had to liaise with the main office for them to control the room temperature . Also, the television did not work at all. As there were no phones in the room, we had to liaise via WhatsApp, this was not always timely or responsive, for example our food had been delivered but we wasn’t notified. In addition, we needed more toilet roll and shower gel as we had a two days stay, luckily for us, the Cleaner was helpful in assisting us, as we hadn’t had a response via WhatsApp.
