Beautiful building, lovely big bright rooms. Good location for Canary Wharf and short walk from transport. Staff were friendly. Lovely L’occitane toiletries in bathroom.
Missing things I’d expect for the price paid:
No hairdryer in room.
Air con controlled through TV was awkward.
Stairs in hotel room with mezzanine were quite slippy.
The hotel had an event on that we weren’t made aware of - it was in the courtyard outside our hotel window and was quite noisy - the music did stop by 9:30pm but could still hear chatter for quite a while afterwards, we needed an early night so just set back our sleep a bit.

The hotel is beautifully maintained with elegant, spotless rooms and a calm boutique atmosphere. The service was exceptional, and Mr. Ernest Knox, the Duty Manager, stood out with his warm attitude, professionalism, and genuine care for guest comfort. He made the stay feel truly personalised.
I didn’t encounter anything negative during my stay. Everything was smooth, comfortable, and well‑managed.

Very friendly and accommodating staff, the room was spotlessly clean and with many modern little luxuries. Breakfast was v good .
The hotel area is ok but excellent v for money with DLR near by and only £10 uber from Brick lane

Staff were pleasant, hotel is aesthetically pleasing! Location was ok for the London marathon for access in the morning, it’s just a bit of a walk from Canary Wharf which is probably further than planned
Room was split on two floors so toilet / bathroom are downstairs, which is a little annoying if you need to go at night - stairs are really slippy, no idea why they aren’t carpeted as they’ve gone through the effort to put a sign up to highlight this.

I changed my check-in date within the timeframe allowed on Booking.com, but the hotel didn't respond until the deadline passed. Then, without any reason, they refused to refund the night I couldn't check in, citing no availability, forcing me to pay over 200 euros more. I requested an invoice, but it hasn't been sent in two months. I left a message for the hotel, but the reply was always to call the front desk. I made at least 10 international calls, but no one answered. I asked them to email me the invoice directly, but they still told me to call the front desk. To this day, I still haven't been able to get through to the hotel front desk. This is an Indian-owned hotel. The rooms were relatively clean, but the restaurant tableware was very dirty, with cups full of grime. The front desk staff were rarely on duty, so we spent a very long time waiting to check in.

Lovely property, nice staff. Close to Canary Wharf - like 10 minutes walking distance. The only minus for us there were not many shops / restaurants next to the hotel.
Hard to turn off the air con as kept turning back on. Was disturbing sleep. Nevertheless lovely stay.
