The hotel itself is beautiful, the room itself was very spacious and clean. Bed was very comfortable too.
The staff were incredible, from Harsh at reception being so welcoming & accomodating to the housekeeping team, everyone was so friendly and helpful. 10/10 stay, would highly recommend!

We loved the beautiful building, the large comfortable room, the lovely shower and toiletries, the air con!!!, and the wonderful staff especially Mustafa who was so helpful when we checked in late on our first night.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Although it’s days Canary Wharf, I personally wouldn’t class the location as Canary Wharf, I’d say it’s more Poplar. That said, the location was local and convenient for us, and I would happily stay here again.
The hotel itself is beautiful. The grand entrance, high ceilings and lovely interior immediately made a great impression. Our room was equally lovely, with high ceilings, beautifully decorated, great blackout curtains and a really clean bathroom.
I loved being able to control the room lighting from the TV. I had mentioned beforehand that it would be my partner’s birthday, and walking into the room we were both pleasantly surprised and really happy to see the thoughtful little birthday decorations, which was a lovely touch.
We didn’t eat at the hotel, although we did have a look around the restaurant, which was equally well decorated, and the staff were lovely and welcoming.
We also didn’t use the spa facilities, but we had a look around and everything appeared clean. The facilities are fairly compact, with a sauna, steam room and a relatively small gym, but they’re practical and perfectly adequate if you just want the basics. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is beautiful, comfortable and convenient, and I’d definitely stay here again.
The only downside was the number of people who appeared to be drug addicts pacing up and down the surrounding street. They weren’t causing us any harm, but it did make the immediate area feel a little less pleasant than the hotel itself.

Breakfast was good and the staff in the kitchen were pleasant and helpful.
Aesthetics
Bed linen was dirty but masked by the decorative ensemble provided for the birthday.
Spa facilities was poor. Spa facilities are not as advertised online. Inadequate staffing and knowledge of spa facilities. Lack of information upon checking in to say spa facilities were inoperable, not giving the customer an opportunity to cancel and go elsewhere.
Staff were not attentive and more or less invisible due to watching the world cup. Staff lacked attention to detail.
No hot water in the evening for shower only in the morning. This was communicated only for the morning by reception but failed to inform about the evening. Which hotel has inadequate hot water services?
Car parking was non existent!! However looking out from the top floor, I noticed several empty spaces.
Poor customer service and was challenging finding an intelligible member of staff who was honest. Too much dramatics when they are fully aware about their ineffective spa facilities.
Health and safety hazards with abandoned trolleys blocking lift access, cleaning materials and tools left on stairwells/emergency exits. The attention given to other guests whereas we were left abandoned, unnoticed and invisbile as if our needs didn't matter.
