Very clean and the room was lovely.
Had booked parking and told them it was a van in advance. When I turned up, there was no way it was going to fit. BE AWARE - THE CAR PARK IS VERY SMALL AND EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO MANOUVRE IN. I also had a parcel delivered for me which was lost for 24 hours but luckily found in the end. Plumbing needs an overhaul. All sorts of noises coming from it during the night and shower took an age to drain. My colleague had some very unpleasant smells coming from the shower tray in his room (Disabled room) Also we arrived back at 11:30pm after a long days work at an exhibition only to find we had been locked out with no way of getting in (even though they said it was manned 24/7). Luckily the restaurant downstairs was open so we went through the kitchen on a side street and was able to get to the lobby that way. Staff were friendly enough but it all seems rather chaotic and disorganised there.

Very clean and well presented hotel.
Initially put me in a disabled room which I wasn't previous made aware of, however this was changed quickly and without any fuss.

The club rooms are great, very spacious (I was uable to upgrade once I arrived at the hotel). Staff answered all questions and were quite helpful.
The lack of smart TVs - it’s 2025 allow me to watch some Netflix on my break.

Breakfast was too basic and very limited. We had to wait for eggs everyday as they were never ready. Not enough bread, rolls and delicacies which would have made the breakfast perfect. You should improve on more food.
I did not like presenting my ID to the reception as we are both U.K. citizens and we live in UK. I have already fully paid. I didn’t also like leaving a deposit. What was that for? We have stayed in five star high quality London hotels and deposit was never asked. It is not necessary for a small hotel. The room was too hot. The Air Con is not powerful enough. It keeps cutting out. No windows to open for fresh air.

Beautiful boutique hotel with a magical place in history. Difficult to believe this was someone's home. Staff very attentive especially Ernest Knox and loved Mansi's cheekiness. Even adapted to my specific breakfast needs and arrangements - thank you
Cooling system struggled with the extreme heat

Wonderful
Very well presented boutique style hotel very welcoming. The Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable spacious and finished to a high standard. The breakfast was very good buffet style. All tastes and preferences catered for.
The A/C operation in our room was complicated with no instructions. A simple on/off system would have made our stay more comfortable.

update as of 22nd June -Ernest , a super star ( manager ) called me to resolve my concerns . He was empathetic and truly cared about my experience at the hotel as I was there for my birthday week. Very happy with the outcome . The hotel may be dated but the staff from reception to management on the ground are excellent . Thank you once again Ernest .
Can you provide a email address for your Guest relations team so I can contact them further to your response ??
Tejh is fantastic , attentive & professional . Amal is friendly and helpful too . Both Greeted with a friendly smile & goes above and beyond to keep the customer and their stay pleasant .
came here for my birthday week but left very disappointed
Hotel - dated and is a listed building so please be warned you cannot open the windows in any of the rooms . This means it gets very stuffy and castrophobic in the room . I only stayed a few days but after my 3rd day I was ready to leave and go home . I wish I left on the first day so I could get a refund . Hotel owner needs to put this message on Booking . Com so guests are aware .
AC and heating - AC worked fine HOWEVER heating had a mind of its own and came on randomly. It’s 21 degrees in London and heating is not required . I heard from a guest that AC has not been working in room 308 - get it fixed management it’s morally wrong for paying guests .
Bathroom - the sink does not drain the water . I told the short Bangladeshi cleaner who works for room service . He wasn’t bothered and told me to let reception know . I also noticed he washed with water only the used tea and water glass cups . Hotel manager /owner - buy your cleaners some washing up liquid . This is unethical and unhygienic!
Room- basic and dirty stained carpet throughout the room . My room was not hoovered for my 3 day stay . The bath robes were dirty and I believe used by previous guests . Dirty furniture and curtains . Fridge temperature very warm . My ice cream melted had to throw it away . Be warned house keeping do not carry out cleaning and rush it . They are unhygienic and do not care about health and safety standards .
Reception area - there is a very disgusting fragrance smell , it stinks and gave me along with other guests who I met during my stay a headache . Throw the diffuser and fragrance cabinet in the bin and instead buy a water filter for all guest to use .
Spa- somewhat pleasant HOWEVER on 2 occasions the sauna was off

There was a problem with the Air Conditioning so the room I booked wasn't available and it was a very warm night. However, the Manager Ernest Knox was very helpful and he and his staff went out of their way to be as helpful as possible in arranging an alternative room and complimentary breakfast. Although it was disappointing, Ernest was very accommodating and very professional in his manner and did everything possible to improve my stay.
