Worst Hotel Experience in the UK
If there were an award for the worst hotel in the UK, this place would win it hands down.
The service is the cheapest I’ve ever seen, yet I’m paying 5-star prices for what feels like a rundown 2-star experience. The bed and pillows were unbearable—even after ordering every option they had, I still couldn’t sleep. The mattress felt like it came straight from the 90’s, and the room was dusty on top of that.
Housekeeping is a complete joke. Instead of cleaning, they leave the room filthy—I found myself tidying up after them. Night service is equally useless; I honestly don’t know why they even bother offering it.
The room itself is poorly designed: lighting is inconvenient and barely functional. The elevator is painfully slow and always packed. At one point, I waited 20 minutes, only to realize there’s no clear stairway alternative.
This was by far one of the worst stays of my life, and I would never recommend it to anyone.

The atmosphere, location, decor and staff were very attentive
Hidden charges, would have been nice for the room to be set up special for wedding such as Prosecco or champagne when thinking of the price paid for the room. Lifts are so slow

Lovely SPA and dining and seating area. Lovely location with Regent Park and lovely shopping opportunities in close proximity.
The staff are attentive to detail and we had a lovely afternoon teas.
