Rooms were clean and spacious
The amount of Irish children running around screaming in the hotel pool and corridors when trying to sleep at night. I understand you have kids time in pool but when you pay £200 for a facial and all you can hear is screaming kids in the corridor isn’t very relaxing.
Wanted to spend time in the bar area on Saturday night but we didn’t as some of the other guest where very loud and screaming children running around as well as walking through a fog of smoke to get back in the hotel was not very welcoming.

Excellent service twice, from Ruby in the champagne bar
Eric who greeted us had the most genuine smile
Contacted the hotel to inform them we'd be arriving a little later than I stated, never heard anything, wasn't expecting the room to be ready just as a courtesy. Check in procedure, apparently my issues were caused by booking.com information given ( never had this before )but common sense is in short supply: having to chase our luggage,my niece escalated the complaints to shift manager as it was becoming ridiculous, ( reparation was made but felt it was reluctantly given) whilst I waited for the luggage delivery from the most laid-back porter with heavy accent, who then proceeded to lounge against the dresser and give me a rundown of my room facilities ..,...
OPEN ! Chinese takeaway containers in the afternoon left outside a room with Selfridge rubbish (all still there the following morning )and the smell that went with it, then passed another enormous bag of MacDonalds rubbish , also smelly...used tissues on console tables.....plus not a good look for a hotel of this calibre.
Attitudes of some members of staff bordering on rude, as their manner clearly changed towards other guests.

We have been staying at The Landmark for many years. The staff have always been very good but we found on this occasion that they were exceptional. They were courteous and attentive.

The room was big and we stayed because we were coming back from wembley to Marylebone, so the location was good.
The breakfast was chaotic and cold. The pillows were not comfortable and the air conditioning was loud. The 'luxury' spa had a load of people asleep in it fully dressed (with shoes on) with bags and cases, looked like they had moved in and been there for days. Not a five star establishment. They don't even have USB points in the rooms. They are 10 years behind.
