Beautiful design, every part of this hotel is considered and beautiful. It also smells amazing and the team are lovely. My room was just perfect, high quality finished, a heated bathroom just amazing.
Automatically adding a £20 per night service charge to the bill, tipping used to be optional in UK and this approach lacks transparency.

Lovely little hideaway hotel, almost like a grand townhouse with your own private staff. We were welcomed with open arms, every whim met with smiles, yummy middle of the night meal after a late party, delicious lunch in a quiet, elegant sitting room. The bedroom was recently refurbished in classic beautiful Firmdale style, everything high end and tasteful with that quirky sense of colour. Wonderful stay—a treat for our 60th celebration. Thank you all!

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was quite good, and the hotel was spotlessly clean. The hotel is located on a beautiful quiet street.

The room was at LG.
Practical there was no view.
There was no shower phone , only a wall-mounted one.
For a 5* hotel these omissions are essentials!

This hotel is the ideal boutique experience—warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. The Night Manager and Hasheed truly went above and beyond during my one-night stay. After my airline lost my luggage, they arranged for my only set of clothes to be laundered overnight, ready by 5:00 a.m. after a 9:30 p.m. arrival. Hasheed even hand deliver them to my room on a servicing tray. They also kindly delivered essential toiletries to my room, making a stressful situation far more manageable.
The room itself was spotless, with a cozy bed, heated bathroom, and stylish decor that perfectly captured modern English charm. I only wish I could have stayed longer, and I’ll absolutely be returning the next time I’m in London.

The breakfast in the room was ok but sometimes cold.
The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. The staff excellent.
Felt when ordering a coffee in the lounge, service was a bit slow.
I don’t like the shower over the bath, bring an older person it is quite dangerous to step into a high bath for a shower.
Nothing else all good.

The employees and the attentiveness was superb. Every day they would tidy and remake the beds and then turn down service was lovely with water every night. The cleanliness was great and the quality of products in bathroom were also excellent.
The breakfast and the whole lounge room situation. We ended up having breakfast in our room every morning due to no formal eating area. They should do away with the two lounges and make them into dining rooms. The biggest problem is that when you do order breakfast it is stone cold, they miss things and then they bring you what they missed and still forget items you had originally ordered. Also. It has a big mini bar and fridge. But no kettle. I don’t want to have to wait 15 minutes just to get a cup of tea when I could make it myself in the room in 2 minutes. A major change needs to be done in terms of food and beverage.
