Perfect location, close to all main attractions and underground.
Clean, quiet rooms.
Staff were very polite and attentive.
If I had to nitpick, pillows were a bit soft even when sleeping with two. Otherwise couldn't fault the stay!

Super central location, good size room, quiet at night, very good gym
Service was slow and unfriendly. Breakfast was pretty horrible with overcooked eggs. We only got our drinks halfway through the meal. Hairdryer is like one from a 90s motel: you have to hold down a button to keep the air going. Not what I'd expect at this price point.

Attentive staff (most importantly), timeless and very opulent decor. Nothing was too much trouble and we were treated like royalty throughout. We have stayed in a number of five star London hotels and this is a class above all those we have tried. The location is superb and we love the history and intricacy of the interior.
Nothing, it is our favourite UK hotel.

"Our 4-night stay at Hotel Café Royal from Dec 8-12 was TRULY UNFORGETTABLE! From the moment we arrived, the exceptional service began - warm smiles and welcoming gestures from the doorman and reception, even at the stroke of late night! The surprises kept coming: champagne, fresh fruits, and rich chocolates awaited us in our impeccably designed suites.
Celebrating our anniversary with our two precious daughters was made extra special by the hotel's thoughtful touches. Movie nights with popcorn and giggles, personalized attention from Rene Castillo, Assistant Head Concierge, and delightful conversations made us feel like royalty!
Rene's expertise and warm recommendations ensured we experienced London's best. Pearson Fernandas, Guest Relations Manager, graciously bid us farewell, ensuring our departure was seamless. Even packed extra chocolates for our departures..
