Lovely hotel, great price and location, really enjoyed the pool and sauna before tucking into a big breakfast. Comfy beds, midday check out, all in all I was very impressed.

Good location
Disappointed. We stayed here last year and liked it but this time was disappointing. The first room we were given the toilet was disgusting and had not been cleaned, had to go back down with our luggage and ask for another room ( so we could get on with our plans for the day quickly), they gave us a strange corner room with weird angles and the air con didn't work in this one. We tried ringing a few times to get some help with this but there was no answer, we had to sleep in an uncomfortably cold room. (Overheard other guests complain of the same) Made the staff aware of this in the morning and they asked us to leave our luggage packed in the room and they moved us into the 3rd room. Thankfully our stay was only 3 nights. No apologies, no compensation, not happy.

Great location. Staff polite helpful and friendly.
We requested single beds on booking. We arrived early (1.30pm) we were told yes we had single beds but the room was not prepared yet. This was fine as check in is not until 3pm. We sat in reception and had a coffee and waited. When check in time cane we were told no single beds were available. We had watched a lot of people checking in ahead of us and were not happy as we felt our single beds had been allocated elsewhere. The young lady on reception said she would arrange for housekeeping to change the room the following day. As we were staying 2 nights. When we returned the following night the room had been cleaned but no change to mattress .

Room was small which was disappointing for a twin. It was nice and clean but zero room to move. Disappointing when comparing to friends staying at a similar hotel down the road.
The size of the room. Constantly having to walk past cleaning carts in the corridors. Communicating with booking.com/the hotel to confirm a twin room. Painful customer service.

Location is good. Breakfast is good and great value as part of the overall cost of staying at the hotel. The pool/sauna are good too. The room is clean. The bed was firm but comfortable. The hotel was clean.
The room was tiny and the layout was very poor. The wardrobe area seems to have been moved to create a tiny sofa area. Really badly designed and means the tv is off to the side and not in front of the bed. The bed is supposed to be king sized. It is not. The bathroom is also poorly designed and tiny. The bathroom cabinet is over a tiny sink. This means you can't use the sink properly to brush your teeth. We asked to change rooms because of all the above points. We were then put in another room, which had the same issues! Ridiculous. The jacuzzi and steam room were both out of order. As the saunas are in the changing rooms, this means you can relax with your partner. Really disappointing. Refunds should be given for all of the above negative points. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
