The location is very convenient – right in between the British museum and King's Cross station. It's easy to move around the city using buses and the Underground.
Although we booked a twin room, we were given one with a queen bed. The staff also weren’t very attentive to our requests.

The hotel has been refurbished since our last stay a few months ago. We were so impressed with the changes. Firstly, the location is excellent, right next to Russel Square tube station. The new bar and restaurant are superb. There is a fabulous, relaxed atmosphere and the food is good quality and good value. The buffet breakfast was delicious and plentiful. There are lots of friendly staff who can’t do enough to help. We were upgraded to the premier king room. The bed was comfortable and the extra touches in the room were very welcome- real milk in a bottle, a good sized fridge, enormous wall mounted tv, earplugs, pillow spray, robes and slippers, toothbrush, shaving kit, shower cap, scales ……

The premium room was was very well equipped, fresh milk on tea tray, toiletries excellent. Spacious bathroom, comfortable bed. The windows in the room opened for fresh air - a bonus in London. The art work was excellent and a refreshing change from the usual blandness of hotels. Breakfast was fresh and hot with good choice.

Had a lovely breakfast each morning and there were lovely staff at the hotel in all areas In a good location with plenty of eateries and very close to Russell Square tube and a 10-15 mins walk to St Pancreas

We checked in short notice, close to midnight as our original booking failed. Everybody was really friendly and helped us. Even they reopened the bar for us for a drink.
