Lift issues when requested to tap key card for lift to go up for some reason it went not to the right floor had to retap until correct floor level was reached.
On the whole was a good stay.

Hotel staff rejected my requested and said as this is third party booking and asked booking.com to refund

Good beds and linen. Breakfast had many options, including fresh bread loaves and good fruit. Gym is decent. I like using my phone for access to my floor and room. Easy access to buses and tube/overground.
Inadequate air conditioning made the room into a sweat box during London’s recent weather. Slow internet. No power points near the bed and no USB charging points. TV shows only terrestrial channels - no internet connection. In short a very old fashioned American style hotel room at a high price.

No shower gel and Shampoo. All toiletries nearly empty and not been refill prior our check in.

Breakfast was amazing, staff were extremely helpful and kind. The location is amazing and perfect; everything you need for a great time is all within walking distance. The room was adequate for the price.
There could have been nicer, newer facilities; some aspects of the room felt quite old. Air conditioning took a while to cool down the room. Aside from that, no significant negative reviews.

Our stay was a disaster from the get go. Arrived at the hotel and went to check in. There was very little communication between us and who we were checking in with, didn’t tell us much information. Also didn’t inform me there would be an additional 400£ hold on my card so to wake up to this the next morning was a major shock. Tried to communicate with 4 people in this hotel over the hold as we had no idea what it was given the lack of information. 4 people told us 4 different things, said it was nothing to do with them, then said I had to contact my bank, then told me they can approve each night for me to get it back faster and then told me I’d have it in 5 business days. Our keys stopped working which was another inconvenience. We had nobody in to clean our room there was rubbish stacked up incredibly high by the time we were leaving (I wish I had taken some photos to provide). There was 1 day it was almost 5 o clock we were exhausted and someone then came to the room to clean and we told them to leave it as we’d have to leave the room after our long day. There was an awful smell coming from the room when we arrived along with a dirty shower. We were so frustrated with everything else we didn’t bother to go down and complain as the money was our biggest concern. Then to end off our weekend we had been woken up at 7:30 am Monday morning by a constant banging outside of our door where workers had been. We were about to check out and then were told we couldn’t leave our room. I rang reception telling them I did not want to be charged a late check out fee due to this as it was completely out of our hands. I was told “well u have 4 minutes to get down here” I repeatedly said I cannot leave my room due to the workers, they asked me to wait. The only good thing that came from this was they gave me a late check out free of charge. No person of staff was friendly towards us , very rude and couldn’t crack a smile when we said hello.

Good price
The whole hotel is very tired. The bathroom was also very old and tired. Yellowing bath tub, poor or failed mastic seals, missing fittings with holes in tiles, cracked tiles or rawl-plugs visible where fittings had been removed or fallen off. No toilet brush. Noisy AC fan. Poor inter-room acoustics. Far, far below what I expected for the 'Hilton' brand. Only redeeming feature is that the staff are friendly and helpful.
