I like that I could check in earlier
The rooms are really cold and don’t have extra blankets. Also, the bedsheets were really dirty and it took an hour for me to get new ones just to find out that they didn’t fit the bed. Also, they just handed them over to me and expect that I should do the bed.

close to tube at shep bush, Nice plush foyer , bar looked nicely decorated although didnt use it. Dining room for breakfast good, plenty of choice...
think its looking a bit dated...furniture in room needs refurb, bed was nice big n comfy, but as i say its looking a bit dated. TV good and lots of choice though. Passageways along the floors again need a bit of refurb...But for 135 pound in london pretty good incl breakfast.

Dear Sirs,
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at the reception during my recent visit to your establishment on 24th Jan 2026. Unfortunately, my initial interaction with the staff left me feeling unwelcome and disappointed.
Upon my arrival at midday, I was informed that I was too early to check in. When I mentioned that I had requested an early check-in and had emailed in advance, the reaction from the staff was disheartening. I noticed eye-rolling and a dismissive comment regarding my request being made through Booking.com. While I understand there may be issues with the third-party service, I believe it is essential to treat customers with respect, regardless of the source of their bookings.
Additionally, when I attempted to discuss my parking reservation, I encountered the same dismissive attitude, culminating in being charged an unexpected additional fee. This was frustrating, especially as I was already pressed for time.
I must note that while my initial experience was lacking, the rest of the staff I interacted with during my stay were extremely helpful. However, first impressions matter, and the reception experience does not reflect the level of customer service I had hoped for.
The individual who assisted me seemed to struggle with customer service skills, and despite being a paying customer, my concerns seemed to be disregarded. If it weren’t for the urgency of my schedule, I would have seriously considered finding alternative accommodations.
I hope you take this feedback into consideration to improve the reception experience for future guests.
