Good location, nice and clean rooms. Good breakfast. It would be perfect if the personnel at the desk were more helpful. See my comment about the invoice.
The personnel are extremely not helpful when it comes to getting an invoice for the stay. I was not able to get an invoice and nobody bothered to respond to my emails...
so if you need an invoice for your stay, that's not possible in Hilton when you booked your stay via Booking for some mysterious reason...

Breakfast and the restaurant staff were very good and so was the conceirge, actually they were brilliant
Hotel is tatty and poorly maintained. Carpets are dirty and there is no extracter fan in the very small bathroom and had rust stains on the paint work around the door hinges. And chipped paint. Checking in was a nightmare, had ordered a day room so was to have access at 9am. Did not get access till 10.00am due to the housekeeping staff having a meeting. After arriving from a lond haul flight from Australia this was not appreciated.

Lovely restaurant and bar all the staff were lovely and welcoming
No hot water from the shower on one off the mornings had to wait for this to be resolved. The bed in our room wasn’t comfortable also squeaked every-time you moved so we didn’t get much sleep

Room was clean and well taken care off. Only minor issue regarding one of the beds where the wheels had come off, but this was swiftly solved by the staff. A different room was offered, so superbe geasture of management.
Honestly, there wasn't much not to like. The only issue is that when leaving really early (4 AM departure) getting out of the frontdoor took a while to figure out. A small warning instruction list would have been nice to figure out how to get out.
