First of all the connected rooms were not ready when we arrived at which resulted in late check in @ 20:30 to separated rooms & only the 2nd day we managed to check in to the booked rooms type after a struggle!
Also, Upon check-in, my credit card was tapped for an authorization; however, I noticed that additional amounts were being blocked on my card each day. This approach is quite inconvenient, as my bank applies a processing fee every time a new transaction occurs.
What I know usually hotels does it once during checkin only! Not every single day!
When I initially raised this with the front desk, the first staff member did not fully understand my concern. I later spoke with a lady at reception who was very helpful — we went through the calculations together and confirmed that the total amount being held was indeed higher than what was shown on Bookingdotcom.
Total transactions 8,338.49 - 239.32 = 8,099.17 GBP
Vs. Booking.com price of 2251.49 GBP only!
So the amount still pending with you is 5,847.68 GBP
Additionally, the room heating system was not working during our stay. Which resulted to request portable units which occupied room space and it was not convenient walking around these units as well as controlling the rooms temperature!

The location was great - easy access to bus stations and the underground. The room had all the facilities needed (shampoos, ironing board, kettle, etc.)
The breakfast was below par. The options were mostly fried and relatively unhealthy, or spicy in order to cater to the large Indian residents. I was surprised to find that there were no boiled eggs, a usual easy (and healthy) find in hotel breakfasts. The room mattress and pillows were not the most comfortable.

Good location with excellent access to public transport, a short walking distance to the Westfield shopping center, and a smooth check-in and check-out process.
The room was old, but it seemed clean at first glance, until I dropped something while unpacking and had to reach under the bed to retrieve it… which immediately changed my impression. I found a flight bag tag showing a date from two weeks before my stay, along with a noticeable layer of dust, which made it clear that the area had not been cleaned in quite some time. Obviously, this would make anyone question how thorough the housekeeping really is.
Both the room and the rest of the hotel felt dated and in dire need of renovation, from the old carpets and damaged furniture to the broken faucet handle and heavy wear and tear throughout. This is not what one typically expects from a Hilton property. Overall, the experience fell short of what I had hoped for. I know London hotels tend to be pricey, but even with that in mind, this stay didn’t feel worth the cost, especially compared to other places I’ve stayed in the city for the same (or even a lower) price.
