Room
Cosy and perfect. Clean and gleaming! Everything just so and the bed was like a cloud. Slept like a baby. Easy to change the temp at night. ?Had a fridge which was empty which was perfect for storing water and any food. Great tea tray - coffee bags are the future - and Yorkshire tea. I don't drink tea but even I know this is the best kind. Little biscuits was a nice touch and plenty of milk. Ah yes, the milk thing is very important to me.
Bathroom - very smart. Marble all over. Toilet roll in a point ( I always like this don't know why) and there were two facecloths in an origami style fold. Very nice touch! Tissues and hairdryer and the soap smelt very nice. Shampoo made my flyaway hair settle. I may need to buy some of this!
Reception - felt smart like an airport hotel which is a good thing! Plemty of space to sit and chat. Chairs and plants made it feel welcoming. The nice touch of getting a little branded jar of yoghurt covered raisins was a nice touch. And the doorman saying welcome etc on arrival and departure.
Breakfast - THE BEST BREAKFAST = I eat like a king at breakfast then less during the day. And all I could ask for was here. Scandi breakfasts, indian infused I believe? and the british cooked, plus pastries and pasta and pancakes etc. Really worth the money and it set me up for the day.
I haven't got any complaints!

We love the location and although the interior is older than most we do feel it is good value for money.
We like the new refurbished bar and we think the breakfast is very good.

The staff was very friendly and breakfast was good.
The hotel is pretty dated and run down. The mattress was terrible. The bathroom needed a complete overhaul. The walls were paper thin and I heard EVERYTHING above me, beside me and below me. The concierge staff did not help with luggage and only greeted guests if they weren’t chatting with their coworkers. You would think with several of them they would have been a little more helpful in assisting older clientele.
