Great location. Excellent breakfast and the function room The Great Room was incredible.
Dated bedroom , small double bed , cold bathroom floor but it’s an old hotel. Could do with a bit of updating in the room I had anyway.

The location was excellent and the property itself is beautiful and very well maintained. The staff were friendly, professional, and genuinely tried to assist whenever needed. Overall, the stay was very comfortable.
There was a strong cooking smell during the daytime that was noticeable in certain areas. The staff attempted to address it, but it unfortunately persisted.

Room: The room felt dated and poorly maintained. Cleanliness was below acceptable standards.
Bathroom: Outdated fixtures and fittings — in serious need of renovation.
Bed: Extremely uncomfortable. I've had better sleep in budget hostels in the UK.
Location: Decent — one of the few positives.
Staff: Reception staff were rude and unhelpful, which made an already disappointing stay even worse.
Overall, this property falls well short of expectations. Significant investment in both the facilities and staff training is needed.
After breakfast at 08:00, reception staff blocked my entry card and insisted I pay again for my room — despite the fact that I had already prepaid my entire stay days in advance. They were unable to locate my booking or payment on their system. The staff appeared confused, unfocused, and unable to perform basic tasks. This level of disorganization is completely unacceptable. I strongly recommend that management review front desk procedures and ensure staff are alert and competent before being assigned to guest-facing roles.
