The location near St Paul’s was good. Had a towelling gown.
Room for £300 a night overlooking a brick wall with graffiti about rats. The spa is tiny, stunk of chlorine and was packed with people I doubt were staying at the hotel. Only booked this hotel for the pool. So we couldn’t use the tiny pool or anything else. The staff in the spa looked totally miserable. The bathroom shower door didn’t close and flooded the bathroom floor. On entering the room it was so hot I had to leave and wait for air con to work.

The hotel gave my suite away to someone else and gave me a smaller room at the same price. They said they attempted to contact me the day before but I checked my phone and they contacted me past 3pm the day of check in. I live in London and I only booked this as a treat to incorporate it with the spa treatment. If they had been honest about the room situation and given me the option to cancel I would have and just stayed at home. Aside from that, the interior of the hotel, especially my room, is tired and old. The hotel is overpriced. The staff are rude, especially the concierge team who seem annoyed when you ask them a question, as if they are being inconvenienced. I wouldn't bother staying here. There are nicer hotels nearby. And they don't even serve breakfast in the room.

It’s a beautiful hotel
We had a very nice Asian Male check in staff. However the staff at the restaurant s wasn’t very nice. They kept interrogating me by telling me the cost of everything as though I couldn’t afford to pay. They have no unconscious bias about black customers and equality. The food was always cold, the breakfast buffet and the restaurant food.
