The location is excellent, facilities perfectly fine, very clean. Nice rooftop bar in the building (reservations recommended)
We had a room without a window to the outside, which was not pleasant.

The breakfast was very goid
1. The check in. Most unwelcoming surly face at the counter. I am almost 70. I arrived soaked through from rain and cold and tired. It was 11:30 am. I was told my room was not ready but an alternative room was, same room type but I would have to pay extra £50 to check in early. I said I felt this was confusing- if a same room type is ready why not let me check in and get warm and dry? The staff just repeated I’d have to pay the extra or wait until 3 pm to check in. Very mean policy I feel. Later, they charged my credit card for two nights instead of one ( their mistake) and did not inform me. Almost £500! I had to contact them to ask why. Again, no apology at all until i pointed this out to the young staff who took my call. I now have to wait a week for the £500 to be released. All in all this ruined my stay. Very impolite people. No smiles or welcome , including concierge, door man.

Wonderful
The property is amazing, the stay comfortable and peaceful.
My daughter is coeliac so a word of warning there is not a lot of choice, they brought her 2 slices of schar bread toasted and 2 croissants again Schar… they really need to expand on their GF options as London is covered by GF places to eat so we did well out of the hotel. I couldn’t fault the hotel although we ended up booking an Uber after the concierge couldn’t get us a taxi to the theatre. All in all wonderful stay extremely pricey … got a drink from reception area and it cost £3.50 for a can of sprite

Central, close to St Paul’s and tube stations. Room was comfortable and clean and the hotel is modern with excellent staff.
Had to ask for the room to be made up, for some reason this was missed by housekeeping on two days.

Location location location. It is right next to St Paul’s and the Millennium Bridge providing access to the South Bank. Other attractions like Tower Bridge and Tower London are nearby within walking distance. One is also spoilt for choice for restaurants and other eateries. If you are there for work, the City is nearby too.
