Wonderful
I liked everything ! Location was excellent, 2 minute walk to the tube and less than 15 minute stroll to Covent Garden. Room was fabulous, bed was comfy and room was really quiet so great nights sleep. Breakfast was excellent. I'll definitely stay here again !
Nothing I didn't like but if been picky the light switches in the room were very confusing so maybe a bedside light would be better.

Facilities location and decor were great
Poor breakfast staff, we were upgraded to the 8th floor which was nice however there was a party on the floor above us in the early hours of the morning which kept us awake. Breakfast staff were also very poor.

Excellent place to stay in London! The location is absolutely perfect, very convenient for exploring the city. Our room was comfortable, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed, with great air conditioning, which was especially appreciated in July. The staff were incredibly polite, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful
Nice room with air conditioning, the hotel has a swimming pool, steam room and sauna. Located close to Holborn tube station. Nice breakfast buffet with an omelette station, plenty of fruits too.
It was fine. Hallway had some wallpaper removed. nothing bad to say.

Great location. Walking distance to covent garden, British museum, easy transportation. Comfortable bed.
Our sheets were very itchy the first night we arrived - this was rectified the next morning when all sheets on the room were replaced. But one of the new pillows had a red stain on it. There was also a used dirty slipper under our bed that had not been picked up by the cleaning crew. For a family of four sharing a room there was only one bathroom and no room whatsoever to place all our clothes. Very limited drawer and closet space.

Great price value ratio in London. I think it is hard to get hotel of this quality for their price level in central London. Comfy room, just the bathroom is on the smaller side (no problem for us). Comfy bed and good housekeeping.
We arrived at around 12:00 p.m., and our room was already ready. However, the receptionist informed us that we would have to pay extra for early check-in, which we did not want to do, so we had to wait. I would have had no problem with this if the hotel had clearly stated in advance that early check-in comes with an additional charge, especially since Booking.com specifically asks guests to provide their expected arrival time during the booking process. We indicated that we would arrive around noon, so the hotel was aware of our expected arrival time. I understand that early check-in may incur an extra fee, but when the room is already ready and guests are not informed about the charge in advance, it can feel as though the hotel is trying to maximize every possible extra charge rather than providing a fair and transparent experience.

Location only
Honestly, this used to be my favorite hotel, but the service has gotten worse with every visit. I believe this will be my last stay. The prices continue to increase, yet the overall experience has declined. The staff are no longer as friendly or welcoming as they used to be, and the level of service feels much more limited. The minibar snacks have even been removed, so you now have to go down to reception for almost everything. Considering the strong competition around Holborn, I no longer feel the hotel offers good value for the price. Unfortunately, I believe this will be the last time I stay at NYX Holborn.

What an amazing hotel! Every last one of the staff we spoke to was friendly and helpful. Beautiful location and really fun and spacious rooms. We had an unrelated issue on our trip that meant we had to book rooms unexpectedly - twice - and it was handled quickly and very easily. One man at reception lightheartedly told us, “We will be your family in London this week,” and honestly, they weren’t wrong. Reasonable prices considering the location and time of year.

The hotel is in a great location just a 3 minute walk from a major Tube station, 2 minutes from a main bus stop, and about a 12-minute walk to Oxford Street. The hotel is beautifully designed, and the rooms are surprisingly spacious compared to most hotels in London. It's also very family-friendly. The breakfast was nice (especially by European standards), and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The only downside was the air conditioning, which struggled during the heatwave. The hotel gave us a fan, which definitely helped, but it still took away a bit from the overall experience. The hotel also has a swimming pool and a rooftop bar with great views. On Thursday night there was a DJ, which made for a really fun atmosphere. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily come back.
We had an issue with the air conditioning in our room. The hotel gave us a fan, which definitely helped, but it would have been nice if they had offered us the option to move to another room. It took a little away from the overall experience. To their credit, they offered us a complimentary late check-out because of the A/C issue.
