The location was perfect: easy to reach by Underground from Heathrow, very central with plenty of bus and train options to reach other parts of London, walking distance to Covent Garden shopping and dining as well as other great areas. The room wasn't particularly spacious (to be expected in central London), but the space was well-organized. Everything was very clean. Lobby was festive but not too loud. The pool was a very nice bonus!
Despite the fact that we hung up our towels, housekeeping replaced them every day, which was unnecessary.

The pictures online looked nice, in real life it’s a bit tacky and unkept.
It’s run down and is dirty in parts. The reception staff on arrival were nice, but reception staff when checking out was miserable and didn’t crack a smile, or ask if we had a nice time. Room was dusty, was charged over £60 for a cheeseboard with no knife stale crackers and unwashed grapes, 2 medium wines and an orange juice. Rooftop bar wasn’t open, concierge was not helpful at all and was a bit sarcastic. Hotel did not bother contacting me to let me know that all streets around hotel was taped off due to a fire in the next building, I had to call the hotel and ask how I can access it and I was so upset by all the police tape, police cars, ambulance and fire engines… did the hotel not think to contact us to let us know not to be concerned??? Absolutely shocking! Spa staff was lovely.

The street design, interior decor was a great experience. Staff were very friendly, all smiling and happy to help!
Unfortunately we didn't get to use the glass roof top bar as it was closed both days we stayed, shame this isn't open daily.

Breakfast was very good, evening food was very well cooked and tasty although the menu was a bit limited and basic. Location was perfect, within walking distance of Soho, Oxford Street and Theatres, Underground was 400 yards away.
