Location was good
The check-in staff, one woman in particular, was so awful she ruined out stay. She needs to find a field other than hospitality because she was the least hospitable person I have ever encountered at a hotel. I luckily was able to cancel the third night and live to a hotel where check-in was pleasant. Fortunately other staff were pleasant and normal. When there was a whole personalized welcome for another guest she didn’t even apologize just explained why this happened and not that she was sorry it summed up her horrendous attitude. I have written to management.

Beautiful hotel, great bar, excellent staff, amazing location 3 min walk to tube station on central and Piccadilly lines, spacious room, very comfortable big bed, spotlessly clean and great value for money. Would stay here again anytime and definitely will.

Location. Pool. Rooftop bar. Ground floor bar/ restaurant all 8 or 9/ 10. Breakfast 7/10. No hot chocolate and wouldn’t refill for us. Arrival greeting randomly gave us 1 Prosecco for 2 people.
Arrived in room. Smelled of sewerage. Windows were open when we got into the room despite AC being on. Looked out of window to check other rooms and it was one of the only ones with the windows open so I suspected smell was a known issue. Called reception to complain. I was told someone would come to our room to move us to another room and we would not have to go down to reception. Waited 15 minutes. No response, so went down to reception to complain. No doubt when I mentioned health and safety concerns next to other guests checking in it sped up the process and we got moved rooms. New room fine but when GF showered in morning, she said water wasn’t working and it was literally dripping rather than flowing. I skipped the shower which for a £200 a night hotel was a bit of a joke. Many positives but many negatives. My overall score may seem generous based on this review, but there were genuinely positives including the pool and the price.

I loved the little touches such as being given a glass of Prosecco and a bag of sweets upon arrival. The pool was wonderful, and the gym was pretty good too. The room and bathroom were very cool and smart. The whole hotel was really funky!
