Lovely location for food places and a lovely view (if you’ve got the right room). Great access to the tube which is perfect for a late night or with the kids! Breakfast was also lovely with a great range.
We had four lots of conflicting information before we stayed and when confirming to the hotel reception staff that (& providing written proof) they ignored the next messages. Thankfully the lady who checked us in was more helpful and was very pleasant.
The bed and pillows are like rocks!

Location
Larger room only had one arm chair and not a sofa as described when booked.
Although changed to executive straight after check in at no extra charge by a lovely receptionist, the room had dirty towels. The shower gel dispenser was empty. This was reported to reception but never re -filled during our two night stay. Some lights were not working - this was fixed once reported to reception.
Bathroom was large but outdated with just a sink. No shelving to put anything on. Bed was hard and uncomfortable and pillows were large and hard giving neck pain.
On return to our room just after 5pm we were surprised to find it unserviced. We had no clean towels and we just needed a quick shower to go out again. When politely reported to reception, receptionist was rude and informed me that room service starts at 3pm and takes place until 9:30 pm! When room service arrived, I asked the lady to give us a moment to get changed so we can go to the pool while she services the room. She came in anyway and started cleaning the bathroom. We were forced to change in the bedroom, but she came in anyway, clearly saw me covering my partner up but would not leave. Absolutely shocking and unacceptable.
Breakfast had a good selection on the surface but the quality was poor and the cost completely unjustified. Very poor overall experience.. I will never use this hotel chain again.

The bed was comfy
The staff lied to us as soon as we checked in, we asked for a balcony as I have bad anxiety and the lady told us no rooms have balconies which is a lie as we have stayed in this hotel around 20 times. I don't think we will be returning now as I explained to the lady why a balcony was needed and she just didn't care. We left extremely early this morning as I just needed to get out.

Location was brilliant. We had a fabulous view from our room which was comfortable & clean & had everything we needed.
I felt we could have been given more information on our check in or at least asked if we’d stayed before & given a quick rundown of where everything was.

The view from the 9th floor was good - too bad for the other hotel in front of our that partially obstructed it, but it is what it is.
The room was beautiful and nicely decorated.
The reception area was also beautiful, it smells nice, and the complimentary water and fruit at the entrance is a nice touch.
When we came back to the hotel around 6pm, having left at 8am, the room had not been cleaned. I called reception to ask if that was normal and it was strange that they didn’t give an explanation or apology, considering it’s a 4 star hotel. That said, housekeeping was sent quickly. We just asked the maid for clean towels and drinking water, as were tired and just wanted to enjoy the room at that point, without having someone cleaning it while we were in it…
The bathroom design is awkward: small, underwhelming compared to the rest of the room, the edge of the bathtub/shower is quite high and the side where you get out of the shower has the toilet bowl and a bin in front of it, making it a bit challenging and uncomfortable to get in/out.
It would be useful to have a bin in the room, rather than just in the toilet.
