Excellent location so close to tube. Welcoming and good size room. Was welcomed with birthday treats in room which was a lovely touch. Good breakfast with omelette chef.

Exception view. Huge comfy room. Close to the tube. Close to Brick lane and the river.
It’s a little further from the traditional travel sights then I’d usually choose. But the view made up for it.

Brilliant stay as always. Room was spotless and facilities within were modern and easy to use with all the amenities you would expect. Great location, easy to check in online. Spa facilities and pool were very good. Spa staff very welcoming. Views from the room were very good and toiletries were so nice I had to purchase my own when I got home. Jackie on reception extremely polite and helpful. Everything you expect. Should be promoted.
Another member of staff on Reception. Middle aged blonde lady name beginning with F was rude. Walked up to desk and asked twice regarding checking in "Can i check in please?....I am just wondering if its too early to check in?", to which she stood there looking at me in confusion and didn't respond. Then after a few awkward seconds said "I need a name, I cant do anything without a name". Just no need for that attitude. All other members of staff were faultless.

The swimming pool, the rooms, cafe, the little shop and it is very centrally located. The cleaning staff are super lovely.
I searched for a double room for 2 adults and then added another double room for 2 adults, and when I arrived they said I only booked two rooms for 2 guests total, and seemed confused on what you do, at first saying they had to charge me for extra guests, then saying they wouldn't, and then charged me an extra 80euros so be very careful to make sure you have booked for right about of guests! The email confirmation I got was also misleading giving no clue I hadn't booked for all my guests. I found 3 insect bites the morning after the first night so I was suspicious there was a bed bug issue as I had been wearing boots stuffed in socks in the daytime. I had no issue the next night and didn't see anything on the mattress, so might have been something in the sheets. (I had worn long boots and socks during the day).

The room was cold during our stay. Check-in at 6 pm was not possible, and the interaction at reception felt unprofessional, as we were asked to wait without clear explanation. We experienced a general lack of willingness to help. A refund for one night was mentioned, but no clear follow-up was provided. Breakfast was offered as a goodwill gesture, yet it was later charged. The swimming pool was very cold, and the staff’s response felt dismissive rather than helpful.

Hotel, rooms, staff and location fantastic!
For the price we paid think breakfast should have been included even if it's just continental. Also we didn't get a view from our room which was slightly disappointing.
