Wonderful
We asked for a quiet room with a view and that’s exactly what we got! Room was lovely, staff were great and helpful when we needed assistance. Breakfast was amazing, better than expected. Bed really comfortable. Honestly, no complaints - well only disappointed we didn’t have time to try the pool

Very unimpressed about Bathroom in the executive room. Well below standard.
Made a request for a birthday reservation through the correct process and got no response. Upon arrival at the hotel reception attempted to blame me for this not being actioned despite providing more than 48hrs notice. This immediately effected the mood of my birthday weekend.
Receptionist proceeds to say they would complete the action the following day but no1. Came to do this.
Spa only had 5 lounging chairs which is not great for a hotel that offers service to guest who are not staying at the hotel. - areas was very crowded.
Jacuzzi was not very warm
Pool was very cold.

I tried to check in for a stay I had booked and paid for but was told I had an amount to pay for a previous stay that was unpaid before I could checkin to my room. I said I am happy to pay a difference for a previous stay if I could be shown the proof of this but they could not. I said I would be happy to checkin and address it with appropriate emails and since I have plenty of upcoming bookings at the hotel in place over the coming months, we have time to sort out any errors. Still, the staff would not let me in. Again, I had paid for the stay already. In the end it was clear I would not be allowed into my room without blindly paying a difference for a previous booking which was not appropriately proven to be true - all I was shown was what I paid, I was not able to get onto the booking.com website to see what price I had booked at, and I showed the Leonardo staff my phone to prove this. Still I was not allowed in and had to leave the hotel and pay for a nearby hotel in order to have somewhere to sleep! The difference I was told to be about £100 so not a lot, but it is the idea that I was charged the wrong amount at checkin the previous visit and I was expected to accept that without any proof that I had the problem with. Also, what kind of hotel is charging you less than the amount you booked in for when you arrive? I find it hard to accept without proof. This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

Check-in online was seamless and our room was ready upon arrival. The room was spacious, well equipped and very clean. Service throughout was excellent. Breakfast service and offerings genuinely could not have been better. I would definitely stay there again when travelling for work, or for leisure. Super location, and the staff are fantastic.
Changing area in the leisure area could do with updating, but staff there were also excellent and the area was very clean.

When we arrived to our room it smelt like someone has been being sick . The place stunk of vomit . They moved us straight away but to the other side of the hotel which I’m presuming it’s the old building . The room wasn’t nice and beds were so uncomfortable. The next day we moved again which the room was great
My friend Rebecca booked another room as her partner was coming and the air con was broken said faulty on the system which made their stay very uncomfortable
Me and Rebecca hav stayed at this hotel 4 tomes now and I must say this was very disappointing with all the messing around
We was given a drinks voucher off the lady on reception as I think she knew about all our messing around but then I was charged £15 for my drink

Disappointing
The location is brilliant and the reception area and outside is lovely. Breakfast good choice and nice atmosphere.
The rooms bathroom was shabby and felt unclean and towels had clearly been used these were dirty and not folded just thrown over the side of the bath luckily we’d planned on using the pool so brought our own.
The bars closed quite early so the only option was the expensive little shop in reception so we ended up going out as it was 11.
On our return we used the shabby bathroom and felt unclean.
The bed was comfy I had no problem with the room. The fire alarm went off early hours and was on for a long period we got dressed and started to make our way out the room as no information was provided as to if this was a test a real situation or where we should go we got onto the landing and this stopped but there was no staff on landings checking on staff or giving information as to what to do or where to go. Which for early hours was quite distressing. I had sleep insomnia and then could not go back to sleep after this so had a really rough night.

Ideal location, large comfortable room, facilities.
The second night a function was on and very loud music under our room until midnight.
