Wonderful
We had large twin beds. The gym and the pool were excellent . The bar was very nice. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was comprehensive and tasty.
We could hear other guests in their rooms and it was too hot.

Wonderful
Room size was great. Very quiet. Staff were great.
There was nothing I didn’t like about this hotel. We didn’t use the bar or restaurant so couldn’t comment. Everything else was brilliant

Pleasant
The bathroom was relatively small, and the glass panel by the bathtub showed some signs of wear. In addition, on one occasion, housekeeping did not remove the tray with the used dishes after cleaning the room.

It was nice and beautiful.
Some staff were nice and friendly, but Some weren't giving that vibes for a hotel.

Good
its a place where you feel hotel standards common 30yrs ago: slippers, bathroom, selection of tea, minibar and some other stuff, feels nostaltgic in a positive way :)
pool is good for swimming, bed comfortable, location attractive for business and leisure
its a place where you feel hotel standards common 30yrs ago: outdated shower, extrem loud A/C, no usb charger, carpets everywhere, breakfast with focus on omelettes and bacon. a bit outdated.
if you like the 80s you feel like home, might be good or bad

Good
-Convenient central location with tube stop (Tower Hill) moments away. Lots of dining options at nearby St Katherine’s Docks
-Friendly staff at reception desk
-Very comfortable bed
-Excellent air conditioning and soundproofing
-Large breakfast room with many (self-service) breakfast options
-Interior decor and bathroom fittings in much need of an update (carpets everywhere, dated feel)
-Minibar is locked and requires additional authorization (not convenient)
-Quality of coffee at breakfast could be improved

Wonderful
This is my hotel of choice. The rooms are big and clean and you often get a nice view of the Tower of London or the Roman wall. The staff are excellent, especially Jesus and Arnel, who are so friendly, always remember us and go that extra mile. Some nice extras, like wine and hot chocolate on arrival, water, sweets, biscuits and fruit in reception. The location next to Fenchurch street is ideal for us, and easy to visit other areas of London from there as a base. Swimming pool and spa is nice and never too crowded. We have always enjoyed the food and drinks, although they can be pricy, especially with added services charges. Water, wine, tea and coffee in clean large rooms. Slippers and robes and toiletries. It is a quality hotel, and some days you can bag a deal. Breakfast is lovely, but pricy, but no more than other hotels in London. Loved that I had a working balcony with a view. Slippers, robes, toiletries, fridge/ Mini bar, coffee, tea and wine in the room as complimentary, and sometimes get a late check out when available. Small shop in reception, near pubs and shops, Overall an excellet hotel with great staff.
Jacuzzi wasn't working. No one picked up the phone when calling reception, on this occasion, although normally not an issue. Heating was off in the room, but was rectified as soon as I made reception aware. Heaters were not turned on outside, when cold, but again have been turned on in the past.
