Lovely room.very comfy adjustable air conditioning. Very clean good shower. Food good excellent location 5 mins walk from DLR. 20 mins in a taxi from euston

Not much to say here. The underground is not far away which is nice. Check-in procedure is fast and easy.
A lot more to say. For a Holiday Inn Express it is a shame. It is not clean at all. The first experience when arriving late and eating there… what should I say? Disgusting. A micro-wave plate served on a plate. No service, no efforts. The breakfast was even more disgusting. Too much people there, no service, tables dirty, no choice of food. After having this breakfast, both of us feeling not good and vomiting.
So yeah, London was not great the first day. In the evening, still not feeling good. My wife asked to get another pillow because I slept on the sofa while vomiting the whole night. Receptionist wanted to control who was sleeping in our room because he thought we were 3 in one room instead of 2. He said he didn‘t belive a woman and that she was lying. No cleaning service the next day… even while asking twice at the reception. The floor in our room was really dirty even on our arrival. Also hairs on the bed… and sorry for this price.. a shame!
In overall, such a dirty place and a hotel to AVOID.

Breakfast was ok but not stocked well enough...no Gluten free bread for 2 mornings...gf Porridge first morning but not second...had to ask for cutlery both days...seemed to be a free for all...noticed people filling bags with pastries but not just 1per person but 4 or 5 which was unfair to other guests...greedy...staff did there best to keep guests happy

The room was fairly big and the beds were comfy, location was great in a nice area. Price wasn't too bad
Staff were grumpy, waiting for a beer took multiple minutes then someone who was cleaning nearby but was left wondering if anyone was serving. The pint class or lines must have been cleaned and not rinsed as I could taste cleaning product very strong which completely ruined the beers. Also the breakfast was super lackluster, it had the basics but even those bits were pretty meh.
