Wonderful
Perfectly located for a city break, with easy access to central London, and great value too. My son and I very much enjoyed our stay. This Holiday Inn provided a good welcome, a spacious, comfy bedroom, slightly too soft mattress, beautifully clean bedroom, bathroom and public areas, a tasty breakfast to start the day, and a very friendly checkout. Oh yeah, and paper bags for take away breakfast items. Wonderful!
We have stayed in Holiday Inns around Europe and many of them have had superior breakfasts to this one. We would have preferred a slightly better range at breakfast. That said, it had 4 hot, cooked items, assorted breads and spreads, some cold options, and a variety of drinks. Plus, clean tables and efficient clearing staff.

The beds were comfortable
The breakfast was very poor and the staff were very unhelpful. I prepaid the rooms through booking.com but was also charged at the hotel, when I pointed this out the hotel refused to refund me. I had to fight to get my money back which I eventually did along with an email from the hotel saying I was completely at fault for not explaining in advance about the prepayment.

Very clean hotel and friendly staff. Breakfast was good. The beds a little on the small side, but was fine for a 2 night stay. Location was quiet, a half-hour walk to Tower Bridge, 5 min walk to DLR and then only 2 stops to Tower Gate.

Not the warmest welcome to the hotel. Breakfast was a bit lackluster. Soft hash browns, rubbery bacon, dry sausages, dry bread rolls.

Decent location, 5min walk from Tube Station, staff were friendly to myself and my two 8yr old twin boys, breakfast was good, room was clean and comfortable. Value for money. I would definitely stay here again.
