everything was perfect for our stay. Loved that the reception is manned all the time and that there was a large cooked breakfast.
Room was a little stuff and aircon didnt work. We had the window open but was a little noisey, but on average still very good.

Good hotel for a family stay. Lots of other families there and a short walk from Hammersmith tube. Staff good, breakfast good. Aircon was a bit patchy but all in all, good value for money.

- Good location between two tube stations covering 5 different lines, 5-10' walking distance. - Breakfast was fine, standard English breakfast plus multiple jams, chocolate spreads, honey, croissants, yogurt, fruits, musli, etc. Not sure why other people have commented negatively on it, it's not a 5-star hotel... (and you didn't pay for one either). - Rooms were a bit on the small side but clean. It seems floors have been renovated in different periods, we stayed in two different rooms: one had everything brand new, the other one so and so (but still decent). - On a busy streets with plenty of all kinds of shops around (no noticeable noise in the room).
- Air condition was problematic as many others have reported. Make sure you either check before making your booking, or having this being checked the first thing you do when you enter the room. We literally suffered until they changed us to a room where a/c was working OK. Even in that room where the a/c was working, it was making a loud noise when it was starting lasting a couple of minutes. They need to do some serious a/c upgrade in the hotel, it's not 1990 anymore, climate has changed (visited in August). - No mini-fridge. - We had a +2 in our room for the kids; kids' mattress was a joke, thin and bad quality.
