All was OK but unfortunately annoying lights everywhere in room. Plug socket lights, fire alarm flashing lights, key card lights, phone lights, and other random lights in the room that were impossible to turn off so I had to block out all lights using towels and stacking objects to get the room remotely dark. And the fire alarm flashing every 30 seconds was explicitly annoying. Its just a shame how this country has literally lost its mind with health and safety. Joke. Spoils a perfectly good hotel.

Great hotel with amazing staff. We were visting with a dog and everybody went the extramile to make our stay as pleasant as possible.
Bedlinens could be of better quality and beds more comfortable.

The staff were wonderfully attentive and friendly. I especially appreciated my long leisurely breakfasts - lots of great choices. And all my special requests for my room were met. A big thank you to all.

Most of all I liked the friendliness of the staff and the fact that it felt like a lovely house more than a hotel . Our room was both elegant and comfortable and well appointed and there were lots of nice touches like complimentary mulled wine and jars full of delicious sweets . I will come again .
I liked it all . It wasn’t grand . Facilities are limited . The breakfast wasn’t brilliant but the staff were so eager to please that it made up for the shortcomings of the breakfast. It’s not that the breakfast was poor. It was good but not quite in keeping with the general excellence .
