Very Good
Nice modern hotel, nice rooms
The breakfast could of been better. Tables so close together, prefer to not have yogurts and jams all in one big pot for everyone to dip their spoons in. And no fried eggs just scrambled

Hotel location is perfect.
Breakfast is amazing with many options.
Room and bed size were ok.
Many bus station around the hotel for any destination in london.
Neighborhood is calm and super classy.
For the value of money the hotel is more than perfect.

Disappointing
Selling the hotel under false pretences.
Staying in many first class hotels Worldwide I rarely have to write critical reviews.
Staying at the Riu Plaza “ The Westminster” in Westminster was very disappointing.
I had stayed in the Westminster last October when it was under the ownership of Hilton and had
an enjoyable stay. In the evening the bar lounge dining room served very good food which in an
area of Westminster without many restaurants was very nice.
This February we bought our 2.5 year old with us to spend a few days in Westminster. The first
day we found a small restaurant for lunch and planned to have our dinner at the the hotel, much
more suitable for our toddler than walking out at night. When we entered the dining room early
evening the restaurant and bar were closed and the reception stated that they were not opening
the facility in the evenings only using it for breakfast. We asked for room service food but that also
was non existent - a sorry state for a supposedly top London hotel in the heart of the capital.
Once booked we were sent an email from the the Riu Plaza advertising the evening dining
facilities.
Even worse the same email was sent to us the morning after we were told the restaurant had
permanent closed.
This we feel is blatantly misleading and unbecoming of a London hotel of this calibre - for
example the three night stay cost us almost £1000.00 for the room and breakfast.
Certainly not acceptable and we feel we have been overcharged for partially non existing facilities
which were clearly advertised to us as part of the hotel package.

Good
We liked the location and the friendly staff. It’s was nice and clean and the room was comfortable.
The breakfast let us down. We had to wait a while to be seated. The hot drinks machine is confusing to our generation, as is the toast making machine with again delays getting some. Hot milk in tea is not nice and there was no fresh milk as it had run out. The waste from the beverage packets was unsightly. Good choice of food though, but the lay out didn’t flow well.

Wonderful
Conveniently located about 15 mins walk either way from Pimlico and Westminster tube stations. 35 mins walk to Covent Garden. Quiet back road. Staff really friendly. Shout out to Vijay in the reception area! Rooms clean and well appointed.
Breakfast buffet offered lots of choice but the quality of the ingredients were pretty average.

Breakfast was pretty poor and they tried to double charge me. Took effort to prove I paid at checkin. Became quite embarrassing with a queue forming - but I didn't want to pay £49 for breakfast

Pleasant
Very good location and helpful, welcoming staff
Soft mattress and poor pillows, struggled to get a good night sleep.
Shower must have been leaking into flooring for a number of months.

I am very impressed with the hotel. Great area.. a little over 10 min a walk to the tube, clean place, nice helpful staff, rooms modern and nice. Right next to Tate Britain!
It was a little bit of a walk from the tube but only a little over 10 min.
