The photographs I saw when booking were impressive in size and decor. The ‘Executive’ room we stayed in was poor size wise by comparison. I have stayed in both standard and executive king size doubles now and there is absolutely no point in paying the additional price.

Good location, great staff and the breakfast was good value for money.
We were on floor one, right by the lift. Noisy with people coming and going. With being on floor one of a big building, everything a toilet above us would flush, we would hear the 'drop' flowing past our room. I know it can't be helped, but perhaps more sound proofing around the pipework to hide the noise of other people's business flying past us.

The location is perfect - incredible options for dining, shopping, pints, etc. in every direction within a short walk, and having Victoria Station across the street was beyond ideal with access to literally anywhere via train, tube, cab, or bus. Parliament / Westminster is an easy 20-minute walk. The hotel was clean with a perfumed lobby which I appreciated (scent is fresh and warm, not cloying), Staff at the hotel bar were very friendly and welcoming, and the housekeeping staff always offered a greeting.
The check-in process felt hurried, we paid an extra 70 pounds and I'm still not sure what it was for... but we were exhausted after being awake for over 24 hours with US to UK travel and and just wanted to get into the room. Our room on the 7th floor was well equipped and spacious, but warm. Our visit was late February/early March and we kept the window open the entire stay to even be comfortable, even with the thermostat as low as it would go.

Location was fantastic. Price exceptional, especially as it included breakfast. We were able to leave our bag and check in before our room was ready. The warm cookie was a lovely touch on arrival. All the staff were helpful, friendly and happy. Room comfortable, clean, fully equipped and a great shower . Bar area was a lovely space for a nightcap and chat with other guests.
There was nothing not to like. Will very happily stay here again.
