Good location, staff very attentive, the room was comfortable.
The self serve hot breakfast was very tepid and certainly not hot! Fruit juice was watery and the pastries were tired and not the freshest. Toiletries were empty in the shower, switch cover by the bed came off and the toilet roll holder was broken. One of the lifts was out of order.

The housekeeping staff cleaned the room very well. + The room size was acceptable, and the check-in process was smooth, fast, and excellent.
I booked two rooms, a single and a double. While the double room was perfect, the single room does not include slippers or a hair dryer.

Location
Expensive, parking for one night £40 Breakfast, staff were busy doing nothing constructive, food all run out, no knifes and forks, no glasses, no bread. Breakfast was just unorganised chaos.

The gentlemen at reception were very friendly and welcoming.
The cleaning team was non reactive, I called to inform the shower gel in the shower was actually empty and no one came to re fill it. Then when I asked for a bag like a laundry bag they told me they did not have any bags!

The staff were lovely helpful and very welcoming. The room was nice and clean. The hotel was very well placed to get to the places we wanted to visit. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice and once again staff were really nice.
The heating was a little hard to work out. There was no decafinated tea ( plenty of coffee but no tea). These were minor things but if you can't drink caffeine and like a cuppa it was a bit disappointing.

Breakfast was average and location was okay.
My socks were dirty walking around the room one of the days of my stay. And in the bathroom there was a smell and around the plug hole there was dark brown stains as was in the back of wc. Under the bed was thick with dirt and there was a pair of black socks from a previous guest covered in dirt and fluff goodness knows the last time the under the bed was cleaned. Head house keeper came to ask if my room was okay she said that the smell was coming from drains and that she would get her staff to give the room a good clean the next day. The stains were still in the sink and the wc the next day when i came back to the hotel that's when i noticed the dirt under the bed i did not get to speak to the house keeper until the following day as she was on a day off. I asked why the stains were still in the sink and the wc and she it was because she had a day off and said that she told me that she would get her staff deep clean the bathroom. She kept walking away from me while i was talking to her which i found rude. I mentioned about the dirt under bed and she did send someone down immediately. Every day the hotel gave you two cans of water on the last i hat to ask for it i think she you was pissed off with me not very professional.

The hotel was in a fantastic location and the staff were very friendly.
The bed was very uncomfortable. The mattress was loud and you could feel the springs when you slept. The pillows were very thin and felt poor quality.
