Disappointing
location was excellent . Staff friendly
Hotel needs refurbishment . Rooms tiny . Bed uncomfortable. Air conditioning unit old and noisy. Noise from corridors started at 5am .

It was an ideal location for the venue we attended. Staff were very good
Parking is limited, very tight spaces and no disabled bays. Booked a king room and requested a room with a walk in shower, however up graded but room had a bath. Ended up in a double accessible room, still waiting for a refund on the price difference

The Location was very good and the front office staff was really helpful.
The housekeeping of the hotel was poor.
I realised that booking this hotel last minute gives you better room rates than booking in well advance.

Lovely comfy bed, quality linen and toiletries. Suberb breakfast and very friendly, professional staff. Ivanna very welcoming on reception, Fatima excellent host at breakfast and Hanna clearing tables with a smile for everyone (even the rude guests!).
Aircon malfunctioned late in the evening- the heatwave meant we were very uncomfortable. It was working when we arrived and the room was pleasant at that point. The bar ran out of draft beer and many soft drinks (no sugar free mixers, no soda). We stayed the night England played Mexico and the bar was showing the match. Also there was a heatwave. Very disappointing to have such a poorly stocked bar.

Room waa tired and mismatching furniture. Walls had plaster missing and badly scratched. Room smelt fusty. Hotel had no diet or sugar free drinks available in bar or restaurant and was advised they were out of stock, which when you are a type 1 diabetic means that water is then the only choice. For a weekend stay in central london to hear no stock highlights poor planning especially in a 4 star hotel near hyde park and on a england world cup weekend too. No apology given or suggestions. Staff were polite but appeared bored and stand offish. Really poor hotel and below expectations. Room was far to exoensive for what was offered and allegedly it was uograded. We dread to think what a standard room would have been like.

THE ROOM WAS A LOVELY SIZE AND HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED. THE LOCATION WAS A BIT FURTHER FROM MARBLE ARCH THAN I ANTICIPATED BUT THAT WAS MY FAULT NOT THE HOTEL. THE BREAKFAST HAD A GOOD CHOICE OF FOOD
BREAKFAST AT THE BUSY TIME WAS A BIT CHAOTIC WITH THE COFFEE MACHINES RUNNING OUT OF COFFEE OR MILK ETC BUT THAT IS REALLY THE ONLY FAULT I HAVE WITH THIS HOTEL

Excellent location, sumptuous breakfast. Could improve on - room was a bit tight especially given the price, but things worked well.
One of the reception staff (not all of them) was a bit surly. Even though I kept repeating my questions (e.g. breakfast timings), he just kept mumbling the details lazily to himself - would appreciate a smile, some kind and clear words instead!
