It was honestly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had — super comfortable, excellent service, and everything was just perfect from start to finish.
To be honest, everything was great except for one experience at the bar. The lady working that day wasn’t very welcoming or communicative. She wasn’t rude, but she didn’t smile or explain the options when we asked, and the interaction felt a bit cold. It didn’t match the otherwise excellent service at the hotel.

Reception staff super helpful, comfortable and clean rooms.
The food wasn’t all that good in the bar, with the mac and cheese watery, crisps stale, chicken tough. Breakfast was ok but hash browns not great (grey and mushy in inside, dry and stale on outside) tomato sauce had overwhelming garlic and sugar

As a disabled customer I requested some accomodations which were all met. The room was accessible with a level access shower and on site parking was reserved as requested.
Tiny niggles really. Mattress was very hard, my wife tells me the gym equipment (especially the concept 2 rowing machine) desperately needs a service. The instant coffee in the room was quite terrible and there was nowhere on site to get better at 8.30am on a Sunday morning. Maybe I'm being harsh but I'm trying to be honest

Bathroom needed refurbing, water leaking from bath. Mattress clearly well used, uncomfortable and pillows too flat. Woke up with neck ache despite asking for more pillows, as soon as you lay on them they became extremely flat.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the hotel.
The location is good, 20 minutes walk from Kings Cross.
Reception staff welcoming.
Room clean and comfortable.
Breakfast ok - would have liked a little bit more choice for my daughter (8 years old)

The location was good. The staff were good.
The breakfast for a 4-star hotel was poor. We got down around 10am . The coffee machine was broken, so there was no selection. We had to rely on staff making coffee in pots. You could tell a lot of the food had been out for a long time by its look and how it tasted.. I had to ask for sliced bread for toast. When it arrived, you could tell it had not long been out of the feezer. In view of this, we went elsewhere for our breakfast on the second day. The room I stayed in, 103, was good and clean, although I think on some of the floors they were having problems with heating. My room was on the cool side, with the heating set quite high. The bathroom was ok with a nice shower. However, the hand basin was too small for the size of tap fitted. You get on hitting your hands against it.
