Friendly check-in staff, they offered me extras like cookies and breakfast, which was very much appreciated! There was a nice warm and Christmassy atmosphere downstairs.

I had to ask for water for the room but this should have been provided and already in the fridge. I had to keep asking for milk for the room as there just wasn't enough to make more than 2 cups of tea/coffee. Basic items were not in the tea coffee kit such as breakfast tea + coffee, so I had to ask for that ad well. On the morning of departure I called reception to ask for more milk and none was sent. This request was clearly forgotten so we were left without milk. There were no face cloths provided with the towels and this was not stated anywhere on the information provided.

Food at the bar was excellent. Highly recommend the fresh vegetables, grilled chicken and frites! Room was as expected for a Hilton DT. Very clean with everything you need for a weekend. Location is excellent for Angel (Tube nearby & plenty of buses). Took 1 minute by bus to St Pancras/Kings Cross from the hotel. All staff very friendly and calm. Very chilled atmosphere. Nice ambient lighting in the lounge.
Our room was a very cold on arrival, but this was December and it wouldn't be very eco to keep all rooms heated. It heated up pretty quickly after adjusting the thermostat.
