Well linked to the City (tube, bus, walking distance from Kings Cross Station)
Our triple room was very small, the window couldn't be opened (not even vasistas to get some fresh air in the room in the morning!!!). When we checked-in we were 20 min early and we didn't get our welcome cookies. We were asked if we wanted to add breakfast to our reservation and that we could pay at checkout, but then we got 2 'minatory' letters slipped under our bedroom door during the first 2 nights asking to get in touch with the reception to settle the bill asap. As if we could leave without paying, that's quite rude and offensive. On top of this, I never got my deposit back.

Enjoyed the free cookies ! might have been a big factor why we decided to comeback to this hotel. Location is amazing, and the staff are friendly. Fast checkout is convenient. Staff responsive and can accommodate requests.
Rooms are nice, some a little old and need perhaps renovating. Check-ins can take some time. Elevators are small and usually there is a long wait to go into one comfortably without being cramped up.

It’s close to restaurants and the train station
The only thing I didn’t like was the Air conditioning would shut off in the middle of the night. We would have to wake up to turn it back on. It would shut off again. The staff was great at trying to trouble shoot it, but it still didn’t work.
