Very Poor
The chap checking us in was very friendly, and was welcoming.
The bar staff, I had a cut my mouth open on a chipped glass. I pulled it out with my finger which was also cut to be told its ice... Blood all over my hands and face to be told we will do you a new drink.. Absolutely insane service no accident form or log taken and no medical box provided. I own 5 businesses with 200+ staff and this was appalling , The ladies attitude was so bad I haven't witnessed this before in my adult life.

Check in was quick, room was comfortable, clean and quiet.
Had to pay a pre-authorisation fee which wasn't explained until arrival, was told this would be £30. Subsequently, it actually cost £43.50, I had to find out what the payment was from my bank as didn't recognise it, trying to contact the hotel to ask about this was extremely difficult, even resulting in one of my calls being answered and hung up on immediately. Managed to get through to the main customer relations who even had trouble getting in contact with the hotel, they ended up raising a case for me. Finally had a reply stating it was the pre-authorisation fee and had been released. Was not impressed with how hard it was to try and talk to the hotel. The club sandwich was below expectation and not worth how expensive it is. Unfortunately we probably will not stay here again.

Asad on reception check in was very welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed. Very pleasant and friendly manner. Dase at Cafe Bloom bar was very attentive and keen to make sure we were happy with everything. Engaging and pleasant personality. Both Asad and Dase are assets to this hotel.
Waitress at Cafe Bloom who took our order served our starters and mains all together. When we requested that mains should be taken away, her response was that we should have specified when we ordered if we wanted them after the starter! Durrrr... There's a clue in the name... Starters! Manager was called who didn't really help to placate. Wasn't a good start to our evening. Dase who came over after the event showed understanding and empathy and should be applauded for his ability to calm and level of customer service provided.

Everything was good, very clean, easy check in
Check out is 12pm and I had cleaners come into my room at 9:10am whilst I was in the toilet, when I asked what they were doing they left without saying anything and when I went into the hallway and asked why they came in they said they didn’t..

The location is ideal for us and the hotel bar is our favorite place to have a relaxing drink
For most of the time the lighting in the room was ideal . .but when we needed to get suited and dressed up for a night out just being able to switch the main light on would have been better.
