In the prestigious Marylebone area of Central London, Dorset Square Hotel is a 2-minute walk from Baker Street Underground Station. The hotel is in a fabulous location close to the tube and nice cafes and shops in Marylebone. It’s safe and convenient. The decor is beautiful - each room really stunning and the fixtures and fittings high quality and very clean. The staff are really professional and helpful. We asked for tea and coffee and they brought us a kettle and tray of nice china and tea and coffee and almond milk.
The room was small - too small for 2 people to move around comfortably, nowhere to store suitcases, and the bathroom nowhere to put your toilet bag so you have to put in on the floor. It would be fine for 1 person but definitely is not the size I would expect for a “superior” room for 2 people. It was literally a bed and a small desk / dressing table. I could also hear the tube underneath us at night although this isn’t the hotel’s fault. For the price I’m afraid I wouldn’t book again as a couple as the room was too small - despite the great location and quality of the decor.

We came for a wedding at Marylebone Old Town Hall and this was perfectly situated. Also great for shopping, walking around Regent’s Park and sightseeing.

We stayed in several Firmdale Hotels and this is the original one. It is a small but excellent hotel with very attentive staff with a personal touch. You feel at home and the location is great. It is only one stop with the Jubilee line from Baker Street to Bond street. Breakfast was excellent. Overal an exceptional good hotel as can be expected from a Firmdale hotel.

Smell of cigarette smoke around the back of the reception office. Extra service charge American style for tips at the end of stay. Not made clear at all it is optional.

The best granola in the world- and I'm a granola maker! the staff, the quality and the ambience was consistent--I was there for four nights. I felt completely cared for and was working each day and would return with a wonderful "home" feel to relax into. As a woman traveling alone, it was perfect and I highly recommend Dorset Square Hotel. The location was perfect and I could walk everywhere with shops nearby and all I needed.
