The room used to be cleaned every day.
There was nothing I disliked about the property itself. In fact, the location was excellent, the room was clean, and the hotel overall was very well maintained. However, the reception staff during my stay were extremely disappointing. I had paid a deposit and my checkout time was 2:00 PM. They called me at 2:30 PM, and I came downstairs at 3:00 PM after waking up. They immediately told me they would charge the full deposit. When I tried to discuss the situation, their attitude was very unprofessional and surprisingly rude. I have stayed in many hotels around the world, including several in London, and I have never experienced customer service like this. The moment they realized I was checking out, their attitude seemed to change completely. They were not welcoming, not understanding, and certainly not professional. It was a very disappointing end to what was otherwise a pleasant stay.

We ended up staying for 8 days: for dinner one evening the chef refused to make a simple pasta in butter (not on the menu) for our child. It took some coaxing and push back for this to happen finally.
