Location, nice and friendly staff
Bathroom smelled moldy, had no ventilation and the shower drain wasn't working properly.
Had train/airplane noise all the time.

Wonderful
Clean comfortable hotel that looks like it's been recently modernised. Superb location for Victoria station/tube, short walk to Westminster, Buckingham Palace. Nice eateries and bars within about 5 mins walk. Hotel had great breakfast continental selection breakfast, including ham, cheese, cereals, fruit and pastries, etc . Staff were friendly.

Great location and good breakfast.
One light switch for the whole room except for the little bedhead pilot light. Noisy room above , moving furniture and stomping around. Not a game changer and I would stay again.

Very clean shower room obviously new but wash basin outside the shower room. Also 5 beds .
The step from the bedroom to the shower room and the lights were very bright in the bedroom. There were a couple of very small bed lights that were not bright enough for reading. The TV was almost impossible to work out. Not much place for clothes as no drawers.very

I had a great stay at this hotel in London. The location is extremely convenient, with easy access to public transport just steps away. Lots of restaurants, cafes and pubs around. The room was clean, and much more spacious than what you typically find at similar price points in the city. The area felt safe and was pleasantly quiet at night. Overall, an excellent value and highly recommended.

The room was spacious compared to other places we’ve stayed at this trip (in England), the location was super handy to the Tube and Coach stations and also some of the sights in London. I also loved the unique bedside reading lights.
The street noise was a bit bothersome but not the end of the world.

The location was great. Access to Victoria Station and tubes was exceptional. Pub on the corner offered great food. A few blocks away offered even better food choices. Of course, you can always "settle" for take-away or fast food at Victoria Station too. Room cleaning was very good and clean towels were great. There were plenty of electrical plug-ins located about the room.
The evening desk clerk is so much more friendly than the day clerk who seemed more preoccupied at staring at his computer than interacting with guests.
When arriving before check-in time, the clerk was gracious to store our luggage so we could use our time wisely.
The room was very tight. There is only one option for luggage placement. This is insufficient for two people sharing a room. Even asking at the reception for a luggage rack, the day manager said they didn't offer any after he checked. We had an odd room entrance with a fire door that had to be specifically maneuvered to get past to our actual room door. Our original room assigned had a flight of stairs when I was specifically looking for access via lift without steps due to luggage weight and bad knees. We were reassigned only to find more steps albeit less steps to the location.
The continental breakfast could have offered a bit more. The automatic coffee machine was broken so coffee was offered in a pump container. The coffee is nasty. It is very bitter and dirt flavored no matter how much you water it down, cream and sugar it. Jelly for toast was offered in a pump, but no container was offered for it.
The beds are hard. The pillows make up for that.
