The staff, particularly Mike and Allen, was really nice
I had to use the facilities after check out due to a night coach i had to take and they provided me with a place at the lobby and a toilet.
It would be nice to have a plug at both sides of the bed

Location was superb, very convenient and staff were very helpful. Short walking distance to shops and tube station, honestly for the price it is just amazing! Definite would book again!

The room was clean but quite small. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to assist us. The location was brilliant!
The room was very small. We had to close the bathroom door just to use the shower or to wash our faces and brush our teeth at the sink. Storage space was also very limited.

I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel - for the price, I was expecting it to be worn around the edges but it was clean and modern. I was upgraded to a family room so it was a good size but I was only there 1 night.
The location is fab and I was able to walk to the bars and restaurants, and to my event venue the next day.
The staff were super friendly and carried my case upstairs for me.
So people have mentioned the train noise in other reviews and it's true, it is loud/rattles the building. I personally found it calming but just take earplugs if you're think it'll bother you. It stops overnight but it is a busy station that starts early.
The windows did let in some noise (sash windows) from the street too but as it's off the main bar/restaurant area, it didn't go on all night.

Plug in hand basin did not work.light for shaving did not work. Hugh lump in double be. Luckily we were upgraded so had another single bed we could use.

Hotel crew member was very helpful and polite. He advised us the shortcut to Victoria Station, as we had early check out. The room was very cosy and clean, and bed was very comfy. Free coffee and tea was served in lounge area, but we didn't have time to use this possibility. It was a pity, that we stayed only one night. :)
As the rails are quite near, you could hear the sounds of trains. Anyway, this didn't bother us.

Good location and the room had a big desk and lots of space and a good closet situation.
You’re almost literally directly next to all the trains so it’s kind of loud and shakes the building which was annoying but not annoying enough to keep me awake.

Very nice welcome, professional staff. Lovely decor in the room, new carpet and clean. Very comfortable bed, lovely bathroom.
Only the sound of trains, being on the basement floor.
