The bed was enormous and the pillows were soft and cosy unlike nearly every hotel pillow I’ve had the misfortune to rest my head on. The shower was very good.
It’s a pity there wasn’t a bar at the hotel nor a restaurant for breakfast instead you have to go to another restaurant/bar round the corner. We didn’t use it.

Exceptionally helpful reception and room staff. The bar around the corner as you head to the main street is great, as is the Turkish restaurant for evening dining (withthe exception of my breakfast comment below). Easy walk to shows which is why we chose it.
Although we were aware that the chosen room was not as big as that we had for our first stay, still disappointed with the size of the room and having to bend my head to the side to avoid the sloping ceiling. The breakfast in the adjoining restaurant was just OK, the water in the flasks was less than hot, not really much on offer and same thing every day. The heat was ferocious at breakfast in January as the heating seemed to be on full, had to ask for it to be turned down.

The location is fantastic, making it easy to walk to the main attractions. The hotel offers some nice touches, such as a free coffee bar in the lobby where you can enjoy your coffee or take it away in a cup. Additionally, there’s a water dispenser and complimentary plastic water bottles available in the lobby. The rooms are very clean.

My room window was broken and the room was freezing ( not just cold). It was cold when maintenance closed the window. I think I should have moved in hind sight but you kindly upgraded me but it wasn’t worth being cold. The radiator worked but I had to stand in reception until they bought it down to get that.

I booked an extra night here (already stayed two nights) due to exam commitments for my daughter who had an exam locally which is why we chose this hotel. Did not disappoint.

My daughter had an exam locally so we stayed three nights due to the location. Room was lovely and quiet so she was able to study easily. Fabulous seating area and designed for work/study with various plugs/charging sockets actually embedding in the table. Would highly recommend. Housekeeping staff great and very attentive.
Location not only suited my daughter I also explored the local area including a trip to the National Portrait Museum which was well worth a visit.
