Good
Location is great.
Rooms on Kingway side are very noisy. High power cars sporadically all night long, leads to distrubed sleep.

Very Good
Convenient for my work in Holborn. Classic architecture but super modern room. Reception staff polite and helpful.
The room was in the basement so no window/s or natural light. A/C controls were on touch screen next to bed but display panel light was faulty so impossible to see temperature or fan speed.

Pleasant
- Great location very close to Covent Garden yet away from the crowds.
- Good English breakfast.
- Rooms are large and beds are comfortable.
- It looks like a small boutique hotel from the outside, but it is in fact a big establishment as there is a tower block at the back.
- The reception is minimalistic, the common areas are soulless.
- The rooms are a bit dated and without charm.
- Our room on the 9th floor had a view on a massive set of AC/ventilation extractors, very ugly and noisy (not possible to leave the window opened for long). When I asked for another room the only option offered was a room without window (how can a 4 star hotel even have windowless rooms?).
- The breakfast is not served in the hotel but in a restaurant on the other side of the block. To reach it you have to go through an exterior corridor going under the noisy ventilation machinery. Not pleasant, particularly when it’s cold and rainy.

Good
Great location, nice hotel with comfortable accomodations.
Rooms that face the Kingsway side of the building get street noise in the night. Probably quieter if your room is facing the park.

This is the best location in London, close to Holborn underground, Covent Garden, SoHo, and the British museum, yet opposite a park which is quiet and neighborly. The staff was incredibly helpful and the hotel room was very clean and spacious with a fantastic view to the park! I will definitely stay there again!

Wonderful
The hotel is in a great location safe and quiet but very close to the hustle and bustle of the city. There were free coffee and water facilities and even umbrellas to use in the rain. Staff were friendly. The bed was decent. The bathroom was good. Good temperature and water pressure in the shower. There was a nice little sitting area in the room.
The room was a bit stuffy but we cracked a window open and then it was lovely.

Good
It is a great location if you want to be in central London
Room light pretty depressing, a small window in the corner of the room. Feels a bit claustrophobic

Exceptional
The friendly staff, clean and tidy rooms which were well heated and cozy, fridge in the room was a massive help for keeping milk cold, etc, extremely comfortable bed and pillows, plenty of hangers in the wardrobe, the right amount of plug sockets in the room, great hairdryer, 'mini bar' tray of sweet treats and biscuits (although these were very expensive so we didn't use any), the free beverages in the lounge of the hotel, together with the fantastic location, made this a very enjoyable stay.
The shower curtain on the shower felt dated, and the shower enclosure itself felt a little unclean/in need of an upgrade (although the power of the shower was great). Both my husband and I stubbed our toes on the shallow step which lead into the bathroom, so be careful. The complimentary toiletries had a strange odour to them. The iron wasn't great, but was passable.
