Wonderful
The location is great. Not very central (If you look to be around Piccadilly or Covent Garden) as it is right in front of St Paul's Cathedral, but it is central to several metro stations from which you can get anywhere. Even not so central, the walk is pleasant and it is around 40min to get to the centre of happenings. The hotel is great in planning your visit - you start getting messages with reminders and questions so that they can help you have the best stay and not worry about anything. Once you check in, they will tell you that the room maintenance is every two or three days, but we had it every day. Everyday someone will come to take the trash, clean and prepare your room and leave fresh towels. The staff are very nice, helpful, and positive. The facilities are in good condition. You have water in the halls and coffee and tea in your room. There is very pleasant Foajé where you can relax and grab a cup of coffee or glass of wine. There is also a good French restaurant next to the hotel, if you are tired and want some nice food.
I would have really like to have fresh air in the morning, but windows do not open. This is not something that the hotel can do, as I guess there are policies that they have to follow.

Disappointing
The location was very good, this being the main reason why we chose this hotel.
Worst experience in terms of accomodation. The fee for the room was charged twice: once by Booking.com and once by the property. When we arrived at the hotel and explained the situation, basically we were told that because their staff did not check that the payment was completed via Booking, they charged us once more just to be sure (?!?!). No apologies were made, not a single bottle of water as complimentary considering the mistake. They just informed me they will pay me back and that was it. Not to mention that when I received the money back, EUR 20 were missing because of the rate exchange, so I experienced a loss still. No cleaning in the room during our stay - not even the garbage bin was not cleaned, no additional toilet paper, absolutely nothing. The staff was really pissed by any question we asked, we received a room cold as ice because the windows were apparently broken, but when my husband tried to close them with a special screw received after ages of waiting, they suddenly were not broken anymore.

Very Good
Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a good size. There was a Nespresso coffee machine which is good, although it was old and difficult to get the capsules in (we have one ourselves so know how to do it
Although the bathroom was reasonable, the shower leaked very badly and could do with a deep clean round the hinges and bottom of the door. There was a sizeable gap at the bottom of the bathroom door. There was no towel rail to dry towels (which got very wet!) so had to request new towels each day.
I had a problem with the pillows, the 2 in the room were like air and when you laid your head on them you were resting on the mattress, so I requested something a bit firmer and the only alternative was a memory foam brick which was extremely hard, so unfortunately I didn't sleep well, an option of something in between would have been good, I don't usually have a problem with pillows in hotels which is why I mention it.

Wonderful
The hotel is next to St’ Pauls Cathedral and very close to the underground. It’s a walking distance to covent garden. The design of the hotel was very nice, particularly the lobby and the bedroom.
It would be great if the hotel provided some slippers in the room. (Or if there were slippers in the room we couldn’t find them). It would had made our stay quite more comfortable as the carpet was a bit dusty. Other than that the stay was great.

Poor
Location of hotel
Poor quality of furnishing. Toilet did not flush properly and it took 2 requests to get it fixed. Small bed for 2 people. The room was cold and I was given a ridiculous excuse by the from desk about how the heating system cools down when the outside temperature goes up (outside temp about 9C). Shower tray almost overflowing with water after about 2 minutes use. Front of house staff seemed disinterested when help was requested.

Self check in. Although there was someone to help but they ended up giving us and the people next to us the same room!
