The hotel’s location is excellent which is right next to St Paul’s Cathedral and surrounded by many restaurants, truly in the heart of London. Breakfast is good, and the lounge area is very pleasant for relaxing, with great, freshly brewed coffee. The staff are very kind, responsive, and quick to find solutions whenever an issue arises.
The hotel has many rooms, and the corridors feel like a small labyrinth. While the building clearly has character, history, and soul, it lacks spaciousness which may be expected in central London. The biggest issue is the heating system. The hotel operates a centralized system that only activates heating when the outside temperature drops below 8°C. This is uncomfortable, as guests have no control over the room temperature, which is not acceptable in the 21st century.

Wonderful
This nice hotel has a perfect location, nearby the Millennium Bridge, the Tate Modern, St. Paul Cathedral and Tube station, Elizabeth Line and a Walkable distance from the theatres, Covent Gardens, etc. The rooms are nicely appointed and decorated, very clean. There are great amenities available and restaurants and shops nearby! The staff is professional, courteous and actually helpful!
The online check-in system, supplemented by kiosks in the lobby, is a little confusing, it speeds up check-in and check-out but still feels unnecessary since the reception staff is so helpful; housekeeping schedule seems unreliable, but the reception staff sorted it out for me (Thank you Salman)! Although, housekeeping staff is very efficient and they take care of business very well!

The hotel is located in a perfect location close to the train station as well as to many sites. It had very good staff, and was very nice.
The heating did not work the first night, but the staff have us a room heater.

Location, comfortable beds.
I don't use lifts and you have to access stairs from outside and your card won't open the door so you have to go to reception each time and asked to get it opened and then you have to wait to the receptionist gets someone to open it a real pain pity your card couldn't open it.the windows won't open in the bedroom so the bedroom very warm.

Great location, room was lovely with a lot of space & very quiet (& I think we got upgraded!)
Room temp was broken & it was way too hot, glassware not totally clean, & very impersonal staff (think the swift non communicative approach was the style they were going for though... Added no value to our stay).

We travelled with a dog and were given some tinny room “outside” the main hotel complex, reachable via a labyrinth of corridors that went up and down the floor, until we got into a “special section” that smelled of urine and cigarettes. Hotel personnel were unpleasant. The only thing that the hotel can offer is location. Definitely not worth the money

Location is very convenient. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I had stayed here before and was happy to see that the cleaningness of the spaces had not changed.
Staff at check in and check out was not helpful at all. At checkout, at 5:30am, I asked the front desk person on shift to call me a cab. Not only did he not call and said "the app is not working," but also suggested I just stand outside and wait, which made me feel uncomfortable because it was dark and very early. The hotel also did not let me know that a parade was ongoing on the day of my arrival, which affected my capability to get to the hotel and I had to walk twenty minutes with my suitcases because the public transport was affected. I do not think I would be coming back.

The friendliness and support from all Staffs. The trainee Yana handled our problem very professionally at her best capacity. We had an issue with the A/C which was not controllable and couldn't be fixed during our stay for 8 days.
The room A/C facility as it was not really controllable. And the silicon seal of door of shower cabin was old so that water leak on the floor every time after the shower and the foot towel got wet.

Hotel rooms are refurbished very nicely equipped. The restaurant / bar area has a good ambiance
My room was in a separate part of the hotel. I had to go to the end of the hall, take another staircase and then enter a different part of the hotel.
The distance was not an issue, but the issue is that the staircase was extremely dirty and smelled VERY bad ( like pee) the entirety of my stay. The room is nice but I’m sorry this is not okay for this price .

The location is excellent and very reachable via public transport especially with the underground.
Our room offererd a nice view on St-Paul Cathedral
The breakfast was pleasant with well cooked product.
The check-in experience wasn't good. We used several credit card to check-in that were valid (used during our stay) and they were all refused. Eventually, we had several reservation made on our credit cards which are still using our limit and the room was eventually double paid. We are actually claiming this amount to the hotel directly but it's very difficult to reach someone. This actually made the end of stay bitter.

very nice breakfast. nice views from the rooms. really great, comfy bed. they gave me a room upgrade and most importantly: my room was ready when I arrived at 11am and they let me check in early for free. that made my day. they also have a nice co-working lounge that was useful after check-out. super nice staff
