Very Poor
They charged my card twice but weren't bothered about making sure I got my money back
No complaints as to the place itself though

Fair
location was great
Room was 'OK' - But heating and cooling wasn't working. Room was too hot to sleep and we couldn't cool it down despite having the windows open (as they could only be opened 5cm) so all 3 of us couldn't sleep the first night. Beds were also not that comfortable. The shower also leaked water all over the floor whenever you used it.
Breakfast was awful - despondent staff, dirty plates, juices ran out, tables not cleared - zero service.
Some staff were great on reception. But I witnessed staff aggressively arguing on reception for over 20mins on Sunday morning (they were unaware i was sat in the lounge and could hear everything)
The one time we wanted to use the coffee shop mid morning - the staff were on a break - so we went elsewhere.

Salman on front desk helped us on arrival. He was so kind to my mom who is now 80, in a wheelchair but still full of life . Her needs were accommodated very well.
Hotel is always lovely, good facilities, clean rooms and welcoming staff.

Good
We arrived very early on our check in day and the receptionist kindly allowed us to access our room which was fantastic. The room was really comfortable and the bathroom had a nice walk in shower.
The location was perfect, with cafes and restaurants nearby and easy access to public transport. All the staff we came across were really friendly. There is a lounge area downstairs which is a nice space and you can order a range of coffees and pastries (from Bread Ahead) which are then brought to your table.
St Paul's Cathedral bells were very frequent and could be heard from the hotel room. Light sleepers may find this a problem.
The breakfast was a real disappointment. Having a hotel breakfast is normally a highlight of our stay and something we look forward to when treating ourselves to a night away.
The room used was in the basement with no natural light and was very dark. The tables were not laid so anything you needed like cutlery, napkins etc had to be found up on the counter. Some of the hot breakfast items were dry and had been sitting for a while. And there was no brown sauce! Also only filter coffee and hot water for tea was available rather than a choice.

The room was lovely and we were generously allowed to check in very early. Location was ideal, also possible to walk to the tate modern etc. for London, a good deal! Staff also very responsive via WhatsApp
The shower was leaking causing a puddle on the floor.

Wonderful
Excellent hotel ideally located next to St Paul's Cathedral, and this time still reasonably close to London Bridge Station which we had to use as our direct train to City Thameslink or Blackfriars station was not running owing to railworks. Easy check-in. Fantastic to check in early at about midday. Serves our room only, reception staffed, requirements. Quiet comfortable room, great shower. Very good value for us for a Saturday night at time of booking, better price than last time in August 2025. Enjoyed a late morning coffee and croissant in quiet lounge with wifi. Staff service to replace TV remote control, great, thanks. Becoming our go-to hotel in the area for our two/three visits by rail to London theatres each year. Thank you
