Poor
Was central to where I needed to be
I was prepared for a small room- that is not the issue.
It was so stuffy & hot- yes they had aircon but it was right above the bed & noisy. Walls are paper thin. Upstairs were stomping around until gone midnight. Doors slamming. Guests next door were talking from 3am then loudly up & getting ready. Tube lines underneath literally shaking the building- even on the first floor.
There was only 1 fire escape route out- but the whole time I was there outside my door was a hoover which was actually leaning on the extinguishers. Might not seem like much guest safety isn’t top of the list.
My original train wasn’t until 10.30am but I was that tired & had had enough that I was out the door & heading to the station by 7.20. I told the man on reception as I checked out that it was the worst hotel stay I’d ever had- he just said sorry mam.
I understand hotels cannot be responsible for other guests. But they have a duty to make sure guests are safe & to warn of the constant tube line noise.

Great hotel, good location, very nice staff - they allowed me to change the room because first one was too bright.
I think they should in all rooms put curtains which can close the light

Good breakfast and tidy room!
It was a bit too hot for us in the room when arriving, but we managed to get the room temperature lower in short period of time. The breakfast room was maybe too little. During this time of the year (low season) there was room for everyone but during high season maybe not?

The room was comfortable, the location is excellent for Central London and the breakfast was enjoyable
the TV signal wasn't great and I kept on losing the selected channels so very frustrating
