Poor
Desk staff were friendly.
The room was extremely small! The bathroom was about the size of a closet. The beds were not comfortable. We did not get a good night sleep. It felt father from the train station than it was bc of the streets you had to go down. At night you need to be aware of your surroundings. For the amount we paid per night (>$240) we expected more. We will not stay there again. It was disappointing for a Best Western.

Centrally located, just a short walk from the station. It is ideal for any traveler arriving/departing.
Nothing to say in dislike.

Staff was very friendly. The location is really unbeatable; you're walkable and so close to the Victoria station. Room was clean and tidy.
My room was actually in the annex building, which wasn't made clear to me. It's not that far from the actual building, but I did have to lug my suitcase around.
The buildings are old, so there are narrow stairs and small rooms. I barely had enough space in my room to fully open my suitcase. I also had a basement room, so the lighting was pretty dark.

The room was nice. Location is really good. The hotel is within walking distance of Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, the London Eye, and only an hour walk to Borough Market and HMS Belfast. Also, only a five-minute walk to Victoria Train and Coach stations.
The shower drain wasn't working well, and the AC unit was leaking.

Outstanding breakfast. Great staff.
Hairdryer is not near any mirror and one must slouch in the chair to reach your hair. Very inconvenient to use!
Had to lay on the floor to use the safe!
Light over the mirror didn't work.
Pillows very hard.
No instructions on use of heaters.

The smell and the whole thing - it all needs redoing to a higher standard.

The room was recently refurbished and though small was very comfortable for a short stay. Having 2 chairs was appreciated & it was nice to have storage for clothes. We could easily control the heating and it was great to be able to open the window. The shower room was recently done with a great shower and nice toiletries. Excellent location with good choice of restaurants , cafes & supermarkets nearby.Would definately stay again.
Nothing serious - the armchair at the desk was very comfy but really too big for the small space - we had to lift it out to move it. The lovely shower room desperately needs a towel rail! There is just a small hook behind the door which means that even if you want to reuse your towels, the only place to put them is on the floor! Such a shame as there is wall space available for a rail.

Very Poor
stayed in room 503 and unfortunately had a very serious issue during my visit.
When I first entered the room on the first day, I noticed a strong smell of insect spray. At the time, I assumed it was normal cleaning or maintenance and didn’t question it.
However, later during my stay, I was bitten by a bed bug. I found the insect in the bed, crushed it with a tissue, and it was full of blood. I immediately took the tissue to reception and showed it to the staff member on duty.
To be fair, the staff were polite and the hotel provided me with a full refund. I appreciate that they handled the refund professionally.
That said, the situation was extremely distressing. I left the hotel immediately and had to find another hotel in London without a reservation. In addition, I had to send all of my clothes and belongings to a professional cleaner to avoid the risk of bringing a possible infestation back home.
This completely disrupted and ruined my vacation. Even though the hotel looks visually clean and the staff were kind, a bed bug incident is not a minor inconvenience — it is a serious issue for guests.
I sincerely hope the management thoroughly inspects and treats the room before assigning it to anyone else.
Unfortunately, despite the refund, this experience had a major negative impact on my trip
