stayed in room 503 and unfortunately had a very serious issue during my visit.
When I first entered the room on the first day, I noticed a strong smell of insect spray. At the time, I assumed it was normal cleaning or maintenance and didn’t question it.
However, later during my stay, I was bitten by a bed bug. I found the insect in the bed, crushed it with a tissue, and it was full of blood. I immediately took the tissue to reception and showed it to the staff member on duty.
To be fair, the staff were polite and the hotel provided me with a full refund. I appreciate that they handled the refund professionally.
That said, the situation was extremely distressing. I left the hotel immediately and had to find another hotel in London without a reservation. In addition, I had to send all of my clothes and belongings to a professional cleaner to avoid the risk of bringing a possible infestation back home.
This completely disrupted and ruined my vacation. Even though the hotel looks visually clean and the staff were kind, a bed bug incident is not a minor inconvenience — it is a serious issue for guests.
I sincerely hope the management thoroughly inspects and treats the room before assigning it to anyone else.
Unfortunately, despite the refund, this experience had a major negative impact on my trip

Plentiful choice for breakfast but the cooked breakfast was cold and inedible. We went down at 8 a.m.

Well located near Victoria Station, the hotel is also near shops and restaurants. The room was fine, but it was located just opposite the front desk. This meant some noise, though it was quiet during most of the night. The bathroom is particularly large, while the room itself is smaller, but fine for one person.

The location was close to the bus station, staff seemed friendly, breakfast had a lovely range of choices
There was a screw on the counter top, the beds were not comfortable and caused us both to have back pain, our night was not very comfy. We were in the annex where there was no lift only stairs to reach the room which was up 4 flights. There was a light flashing in the room constantly which kept us awake. Single glazed windows meant we heard a lot of noise outside. Small room and bathroom.

Wonderful
Location was excellent with shops and restaurants the hotel was wonderful and the staff were great even giving us another room to accommodate my friend who has mobility issues without us requesting. Will definitely be staying again

Location. Walking to Theatres and Buckingham Palace, train and bus terminals.

Wonderful
I enjoyed my room despite of the fact that its below ground level but it was quiet and comfortable. Location was accessible and staff are so helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, i didnt have breakfast.
Stairs coming up because i have to lift my suitcase which is uncomfortable. A lift would be better but its a minor thing. Generally, i loved this place and will come back to stay alittle longer.

Very clean, A/C worked great (but did turn off in the middle of the night, seemed to run for a set amount of time). The bed was comfy. Good choice of places to eat nearby, and close enough to Victoria tube station. Staff at front desk always friendly and helpful. Didn't expect to have to ask for a top sheet or a wash cloth, but they were readily provided. Safe was nice to have. Appreciated the complimentary water, tea, and biscuits.
The elevator didn't work one day and I have a bum knee and was on the top floor. The room was very small, much smaller than I expected from the pictures. Shower was also quite small and the shower head was not high enough. Could have used a larger wastebasket in the bathroom and I prefer open ones (not the kind you have to step on to open the top).
