Rooms nice and clean

Not to mention Miss Sarah also, she helped me with my mobile charger sharing her own

Friendly man on reception, very clean and comfortable room, the bed was lovely, nice hot shower. We were in room 1. Very close to Victoria station.
There wasn't anything we didn't like but could do with extra milk in the room.

I stayed at the Best Western Corona Hotel in Westminster and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is excellent – right in Westminster, which makes it easy to explore London on foot or with convenient transport links nearby.
The room itself was cosy, clean, and comfortable for one person. It wasn’t very big, but perfectly fine for a solo stay, and the atmosphere felt welcoming.
The only real downside was the bathroom. While it was actually a decent size for a London hotel and clean, the shower setup was quite inconvenient. There was only a large fixed showerhead with no shower hose, which made showering uncomfortable and less practical than expected.

The hotel is close to Victoria Station. The building looked quite impressive from the outside and the price was ok for the location as I had a discount from Booking.com. But once inside…
It is a bit tatty and unloved inside. There is a warning on the lift not to press hard otherwise the lift would stop working. Once in my room I wanted to open the window but the catches were gone: the bottom of the privacy curtain was ripped and filthy. A new net curtain wouldn’t break the bank, surely? The cheap kettle lid fell apart when I filled the kettle. The place really needs to be looked at carefully for things like that - it doesn’t seem well-maintained at all.

Shower water was constantly scalding hot. Even after letting in run for an hour it was still scalding hot. It was a hot spell in London. No A/C.
