Quaint and quirky hotel. Quiet and beautifully decorated.
very poor lighting in bathroom for putting on make up. Also we were woken one morning by the sound of water cascading down the pipe - it was very loud. We dreaded being woken early the next morning for the same reason but thankfully we weren't.

This is THE nicest place I have ever stayed in taking over places like Fairmont among others. It is a super tasteful gem hidden in a quiet street just off pretty busy Spitalfields and Shoreditch. The staff was incredibly nice and forthcoming. I felt like a proper princess in my room. Every single corner of the hotel breathes with history. Actually even calling Batty Langley's a hotel doesn't feel right. It really felt like being transported into a dream house with an extended family members taking care of you. I cannot express with words how happy Batty Langley's made me during my first days in London.

The style and luxurious nature of this property are unique and we loved it. Great location too.
Only thing which would’ve improved our stay would’ve been tea/coffee facilities in the room. This generally comes as standard pretty much anywhere you go, we were surprised to not see it here.
