Disappointing
Location is great for Albert Hall events and Hyde Park, room was a good size
Cold water showers on two occasions. There are clearly issues with the hot water system but reception addressed this for me on check out which was appreciated. The hotel was also just about to close as it had been sold.

Excellent location, clean rooms and great facilities. Some of the public areas in the hotel were becoming tired. But did not detract from our stay. Loved the turn down service. The staff were all amazing theoughout the hotel and I would like to send particular thanks to Fedros and Marcus in the bar who were second to none in their level of service. Food was good, the room was clean, and stylish (although not the one we booked our view of the courtyard was actually a view of a brick wall). We had such a good time that I tried to book again for next summer, and I was shocked to find that the day after we left the hotel is showing as permanently closed. A huge loss to tourists.
The bathroom sink stopper stuck closed every-time it was used so that wasn’t great. There was a quite steep discretionary service charge that was added each day which I was so surprised by at the time I didn’t refuse and as I was hoping to return, I paid the charges.

Wonderful
This is my second stay in the Baglioni hotel. I like the location directly facing Kensington Garden. The breakfast is so good and more importantly the friendly and helpful staff of the hotel. Thank you to Elena at the reception and the hotel manager for understanding and for the complimentary upgrade to a nice and spacious suite
The hotel is getting old and this was noticed in the suite I booked which was the courtyard suit which made me think of canceling my stay but I was upgraded and it was solved for two nights.

Ideal location room was lovely and the little extra touches chocolate and water and turn down was special
Building work /roadworks ? made the room very noisy early in the morning and the breakfast was disappointing

It’s a lovely hotel with lovely rooms
They now scrimp on the basics, small waters, breakfast included but if you want it hot it’s not, valet parking not happening

Great location for the Royal Albert Hall
The temperature in the room was set to 23 degrees which was wayyyy too hot. Fortunately there were doors to outside which we could open. Wasn’t a fan of the dark interior and the sink with the rusty plughole.

Staff was friendly. The hotel's location.
The hotel was dark, cramped and did not match any 5 star, not even 4 star hotels I ever stayed in. The breakfast was poor and every pastry had icing sugar on. Flowers on displays were half dead and stayed in dirty water, they were going to be changed, I was told, on Tuesday, 2 days after we left.

The hotel is so near to the royal Albert hall The hotel service is fantastic and we were very well looked after, fantastic breakfast
I had booked a deluxe double the room we were given was lovely , but the view from window was a brick wall, staff were amazing to change room and we had free champagne was so lovely

Fantastic location. Large & spacious rooms. Super friendly and highly trained staff.
Some items in the room were faulty (kettle, coffee machine, TV). Door bell chime to rooms is quite annoying.

Charming old building is a great location. We were able to walk to Albert Hall for a concert.
Charming old building that desperately needs upgrading. Plumbing was old and unreliable. Wifi in room did not work at all, had to go downstairs to get wifi. Decor is very tired and outdated. Breakfast was extremely average. The staff was unfailing polite, but rather clueless. (After two requests, I've yet to get a written invoice.) I know London is expensive, but this property represents very poor value at this price point. It does not meet Leading Hotels standard of quality. It is really a 3-star hotel.

Location
Hotel is tired. It was not lHW quality. Bathtub didn’t work, told the desk nothing was done. Safe wouldn’t work called reception no one answered so had to go down to the front desk. Reception messed up our airport transfer on departure.

Staff were excellent and extremely attentive. Italian style, location and decor
Renovations needed very soon to maintain pricing- some of the hotel is extremely tired- bathroom fittings falling off the wall, all chairs, tables etc scuffed from many years of use. Hotel felt like it was barely occupied.
