Breakfast was good. Rooms were well cleaned.
Hotel was a little too far from the centre of the city. However that was our fault not yours. The price of hotels in London are higher than we are used to for similar hotels in Canada.

The view was not good. But, we understand as it was a basement room. The room itself was excellent, and the view didn't matter that much as we were on the go quite a bit.

Very close the Aldgate East Station which facilitates us traveling to various places tourist attractions. Though it is close to Whitechapel area, I feel mostly safe even walking alone at night. Room is spacious and clean and new.
Beware that some rooms’ windows are opposite to each other and better close the curtain to ensure privacy.
But don’t try the Brick Lane’s Indian restaurants, most are not up to their reputation and only target tourists.

Fire alarm went off at 6.30am, was informed by other guests all was okay, no communication from staff, however we didn’t go all the way downstairs so they were probably there
