The staff are amazing.
The location is great. Less than 2 minute walk from Algate East station (Exit 3). There are lots of fabulous places to eat nearby. We had great fish and chips from Jack the Chipper! Lots of Turkish and Middle Eastern cuisine nearby.
Breakfasts were good and plentiful with a wide variety of food.
Booked a King room. The images on booking.com are a misrepresentation of rooms available. Our room had 1 tiny frosted window that could not be opened or closed, yet the images on booking.com and Hamptons' website portrayed big, open windows that let in lots of light. Sadly, this was not the case. I felt like we were in a dungeon as there was absolutely no natural light. Also, the room was tiny, I doubt very much it was 20m2 as stated on site. Do not stay in room 316.

The hotel is very good. The quality/price ratio is excellent for London. Good facilities, very new, and good rooms, very clean and with everything you need. Breakfast included with enough variety. The location is very convenient, just two minutes from the Aldgate East tube and you can walk, among other places, to the Tower of London or Liverpool Street in a short time. It is a stone's throw from Brick Lane, with many restaurants, especially Indian, but also good pubs a few minutes away. If you want to have a beer or a drink at night you can find interesting alternative venues.
No complaints. We would repeat.

It was ok, comfortable, clean and in a convenient position, but for this price I would expect the room to be cleaner (no cobweb at the ceiling) and I would appreciate more tasteful breakfast (there was a variety of food to choose from but most of them didnt taste good).
