Wonderful
I like this hotel a lot and stay there regularly. It is comfortable. It is quiet. Breakfasts are good, The staff are both very friendly and helpful (I was impressed, for instance, that on my latest stay a minor problem was solved with a free upgrade). For London, rooms are a good size and they are clean and well-equipped, and the WiFi is fast. What particularly attracts me, though, is that it is in a remarkably untouristy part of central London yet within easy walking distance of fantastic restaurants plus many of the other things that visitors look for. If you do stay, don't miss walking through the Inns of Court - accessible from the courtyard at the back of the hotel - a legal area with a very long history and a fascinating temple church.
The restaurant is not great, but it is handy on a wet and windy evening.

It was in a good location, very quiet and calm. Super clean and comfortable and I had a lovely spacious room with a huge bathroom. The reception team were extremely lovely: welcoming, helpful and knowledgable. The breakfast was excellent as were the team in the restaurant who looked after it.
It felt quite corporate which wasn’t a bad thing really but it didn’t have any personality. Very discreet lighting in the bathroom which was nice but no good for applying make up!

The breakfast every morning was wonderful, a nice variety, and a great start to the day. The hotel was clean and beautiful. They provide complimentary bottles of water which were wonderful since water is expensive and the tap in the hotel tastes like big city water. The location was absolutely amazing! Ten minute walk to two separate major train stations and on many great bus lines. Would 100% stay here again.
The only thing I can really complain about is the end was a bit hard. After walking all over the city it'd be nice to be a bit more cushy. And this is likely a London energy saving measure but the room was quite hot. The AC wouldn't let you turn it down past a certain point and would often turn off completely or turn back up on its own. But we managed to make it work.

Location was great, we could walk and see a lot. Breakfast was ok, excellent selection of egg dishes plus basic selection of cheeses, ham, vegetables, fruit, granola etc. The room was spacious, we got coffee capsules and enough bottled water every day.
The pillows were too big but we did get smaller ones upon request.

Wonderful
Excellent, quiet location with great transport access, comfortable rooms and great staff. The superior rooms are a HUGE upgrade from the most basic tier.
It would be great to be able to request a room in the front or side wing. I had a knee injury and it was a loooooong walk from the lift to my room. But that's a very tiny nit to pick. This hotel is great and excellent value for money.
