It felt like our own home with a butler service.The Breakfast has a huge selection of options to suite every culture and taste, all freshly prepared. The scrambled eggs and salmon were the tastiest we have ever had and the omelette was compact. Would be ideal to celebrate a special occasion.
The small size of the shower gel ,they did explain that they are waiting for the stock they have to run out.

Hotel was well kept, service stuff was very friendly and breakfast was fantastic.
Housekeeping should provide toothpaste daily as the tube is only good for 2 use.

The staff were very nice.
When I book a Deluxe King room I don’t want to be given the disabled room as has happened a number of times on this trip. When ordering breakfast I specified my poached eggs not be runny as I dislike the taste of the yolk and I said I would need them to be recooked if that happened. Sure enough as soon as I cut into the eggs the yolks ran everywhere and I had to wait while they were recooked. They ended up like hard boiled eggs the next time. Not the best breakfast. The next morning to be safe I ordered an omelette and the same thing happened. Inside was just undercooked egg. I had to have it redone and wait again. Neither breakfast could be eaten at the same time as my husband.

The location
I was very surprised by my stay at this so-called 5-star hotel in London, as the overall experience fell far below what one would reasonably expect from a property in this category. To begin with, the entrance itself is rather unusual. There is no proper lobby with a valet or welcoming area. Instead, one must ring at a small door and wait for someone to open it. The “lobby” is nothing more than a small lounge where check-in is conducted at a discreet desk hidden in the corner — not what you expect upon arrival at a 5-star establishment. What struck us almost immediately were the intense vibrations caused by the underground trains passing beneath the building every 3–4 minutes. The shaking was so strong that the tableware, frames and chandeliers rattled constantly. When we raised our concern at check-in, we were reassured that the rooms would be much quieter. This turned out to be completely inaccurate. In the room, the underground could be felt and heard every 5 minutes, shaking the entire building. Although this stopped around 11 p.m. and resumed at 6 a.m., it is still unacceptable for a hotel of this supposed category. Another surprising point is the absence of a true room service. Instead, the hotel relies on deliveries from external restaurants. While this offers a much broader variety of dishes than the usual limited hotel menu, the service experience falls short of 5-star standards: long waiting times, food delivered simply on a trolley, and no refined presentation. The bathroom was also disappointing: no separate toilet and only one sink to share, again far from 5-star standards. Finally, during check-out, even though we had several suitcases, no one offered to assist us with our luggage — again, not what one would expect from a hotel of this level. On a more positive note, breakfast was nicely served and the staff were overall pleasant and friendly.

Staff were accommodating in changing the dates. They are somewhat friendly, but to be expected for a 5 star hotel at this price point.
The pictures are on the booking.com app are completely misleading. While the hotel is a nice luxury hotel, it is not quite as new and nice as the pictures appear. Plus one MAJOR drawback is that the hotel is right above the train station so you can hear the rumble of the train coming through every 5 minutes from as early as 5-6am. This needs to be clearly communicated on the app so people can make informed decisions. Also, the connecting rooms on the second floor (Serpentine and Tea) just mean they have a meaningless space between two doors— shouldn’t be charging guests 120 pounds more for that! Shower water is very very weak.
