Pleased for the upgrade of the room.
As I (Kenneth) have mobility issues, It made our stay much more comfortable.
The service and food in the restaurant was excellent.
I could not easily follow your final bill.
I was expecting to receive an itemised bill just for extras, but received instead a revised overall receipt, which was not easy to understand.

Location, great bed and pillows, staff were lovely.
Coffee machine didn’t work, shower would only run either freezing cold or scalding hot, the room was much smaller compared to others we’ve previously had at the Cadogan Gardens.

First room had a broken lamp on the desk and a spotlight outside the window that illuminated the entire room with the curtains closed - second room - the shower did not work properly (only hand shower attachment worked overhead was non functional) asked the team to look at it whilst I was out - nothing was done - room smelt really bad of plumbing issues with the smell of no 2 in the room - all in all very expensive and very poor facilities

Staff were excellent. Food was very good. Room was nice. Clean and comfortable.
The management wanted to swindle me out of my money by charging for the entire booking days when I needed to leave early due to an emergency although I paid for the most expensive rate because it was towards a refundable stay. Only booking.com sorted it out for me in 15 mins.

No 11 is in a perfect location and it has an excellent Breakfast . The staff are very friendly and helpful .
In my opinion the central areas with carpets need a really good clean and some areas smelt damp plus the first room offerred was old and poor but managed to get moved to a more refurbished room . If feels like it needs a good refurbishment and fresh air and clean .

The location and the fairy tale Christmas story to believe.
My experience was deeply disturbing and, without exaggeration, one of the most traumatic experiences I have ever had in my life. At midnight, after discovering that an additional €1,500 had been charged to my card incorrectly, I approached reception seeking clarification. Instead of receiving assistance, I was met with aggressive and unacceptable behavior from the male receptionist, who was yelling and spoke in an intimidating manner. As a mother traveling alone with my 7-year-old daughter, this was not only shocking but frightening. My child was so distressed by the situation that she cried for hours during the night, terrified that the same staff member might come to our room during the night. No guest, especially a mother with a young child, should ever feel unsafe in a five-star hotel.
What makes this even more alarming is that I immediately requested to speak with management. I was told that management was not available — effectively, that they were “asleep.” No senior staff intervened. No one de-escalated the situation. No one ensured that a mother and child felt safe.
Management only contacted me after I had already left the hotel.
An erroneous €1,500 charge is a serious financial mistake. Responding with hostility and intimidation is unacceptable. Failing to provide managerial support in the middle of the night when a guest explicitly requests it is a complete breakdown of duty of care.
Luxury is not interior design. Luxury is security, accountability, and respect. On that night, none of those standards were upheld.
This situation warrants serious internal review. What occurred was not a minor service lapse. it was a fundamental failure in guest protection and leadership.

nice room quietly located. to reach it with luggage was a challenge. Bell boy was strong enough. only one lift. hotel location in great area.
quality of wifi in room was poor. Bathroom was smallish and bath shower bit slippery. Tough to hang wet towels.
