Supposingly it was an upgrade to our room and they gave us a room with a view at the ventilation shaft. The room was noisy and smelly from the ventilation circuit. Definitely a not 5 star hotel.

Lovely this boutique hotel in chelsea, good bar easy access to Harrods and all the shops.
Room was quite small for a King? Breakfast is quite slow and when it arrived it was cold.

Very Small Room with window towards small machine area or utility space. Machine noise during night and early hours I was also surprised that the hotel charges a 5% service charge on top of their rate.

We booked a suite in The Chelsea Townhouse and upon arrival we were escorted down the road to 11 Cadogen Gardens. My stay was because I was having surgery in London so booked a suite for extra room as we were going to be confined to the room for 3 days. We also wanted something airy and bright as shown in the pictures of Chelsea Townhouse. The room we were given at 11 Cadogen Gardens was the complete opposite. EVERYTHING was devil red, big red hung curtains, no view, no light. And a kettle that didn’t reach the plug socket.
If we had stayed in the hotel we actually booked.

The location cannot be beaten. The old meets new vibe of the hotel is quite nice as well, old world hospitality with new world amenities
