Great location just behind Pavilion Road (with cafes and shops) Staff were friendly but not the most accommodating Access to private garden although the garden could do with a bit more maintenance
Layout was very odd Air conditioning was very noisy Beds were uncomfortable, uneven and springy Carpets didn't feel very clean Bathrooms were very small, shower was even smaller

location is absolutely amazing (border of chelsea and belgravia), quiet, beautiful a nice pedestrian street nearby where we would eat breakfast every morning. room was clean and bright.

Disappointing
location
A lovely old building but our bedroom was badly in need of refurbishment being rather tatty. The aircon did not work and would not stay on despite the staff trying three times to fix it and telling us it was working. We booked a room that was supposed to have a bath – but only had a tiny showeroom and no bath. There may as well have been no window in the bedroom because it would not open and in any case looked out onto a tiny area with loads of ducting and pipework that was so ugly the hotel had put opaque glass on to try and stop clients being able to view out. The hotel gave us a 25% discount because of the above – not enough.
