I really like this property because it is very affordable and in an excellent location. It is just a short walk to Albert Dock and Liverpool ONE Bus Station, which made getting around very convenient. There is also a Tesco Express only about 200 metres away, making it easy to buy groceries and other essentials. The room was comfortable, and the shared kitchen was spacious and well equipped. This was my third time staying here, and I would definitely choose this place again whenever I visit Liverpool.
Everything about the property was great, but the only downside was that our room was located next to the main entrance door leading to the other rooms. The door would slam very loudly whenever someone opened it and let it close by itself. As it was a busy entrance, this happened frequently—sometimes three times within a single minute—which was quite disruptive, especially when trying to rest. We reported the issue to the reception, but we were informed that the technician would only be available the following day. Since we were staying for just one night, there wasn’t much that could be done during our stay, so we had to put up with the constant door slamming. If you’re planning to stay here, I would recommend requesting a room that is at least two or three rooms away from this entrance door. Other than that, everything else was excellent.

Great staff -friendly and helpful. Room was big enough and comfy bed. Kitchen facilities for self-catering was well stocked with all the essentials and always clean. Great location to explore the city from when also needing a safe and secure car space without paying high parking fees elsewhere.
The school group who sat outside our (and others) window at 1030pm to sing happy birthday was a bit much and disrespectful of other guests - should have kept in the dining room where the sound doesn't travel to guest rooms. But this is on the teachers, not the wonderful YHA staff.
