Bed was comfortable and the heating worked and the door locked.
Entrance was faulty so struggled to enter and leave. Entrance and hallways were dirty and smelled of cigarettes and weed. My room had cups, teabags and milk to make a cup of tea but no kettle. No hairdryer and wasn't stated online that there wasn't one. 1 towel for 2 people. No TV and it looked as if the TV was torn from the wall. Toilet paper was used to stuff a hole in the wall. Bathroom was stained and unclean. Floor was dirty and was clear it hadn't been cleaned in a while as it was covered in crumbs and someone elses cigarette papers.
Was shown a box where to return my key but when I used it the box was broken and key fell out.
The photos do NOT advertise the room I got. The hotel was not fit for purpose and did not feel safe.

Pleasant
Room reasonably well decorated and clean. Has a microwave tea coffee supplies and a fridge. No kettle however.
Perfectly acceptable value for money basic accomodation.
Would certainly revisit and have visited in the past.
What looked like cigarette burns/holes in duvet. Duvet was very clean besides these.

Disappointing
The staff were friendly.
I didn't end up staying as the windows in my room didn't shut and there was no other room available. The manager seemed unaware and issued a refund, and said that the windows would be fixed.

The bedding was clean and the washbasin and toilet also clean. The person on Reception showed me to my room and how to use the front door with the card. He did not check my ID or even ask my name, so I must have been the only person booking in that day.
No room curtain. Shower had some green stuff growing from the plughole so I didnt use it. Distinct smell throughout the room - could have been the floor mop but more likely whoever had been smoking whatever in there last. Nothing matched and had just been thrown in to meet the descrption requrements. No hairdryer. No tea/coffee facilities. The area surrounding this place was very rundown. No parking - only residents-only parking in all local streets.

The hotel was situated where we needed it to be for an event, the price was cheap and after a mix up with our check-in times the staff sorted me out and discounted my rooms. the rooms where not to standard but served there means as we where only sleeping in them for 7hours before leaving after the event!
The hotel seem to be in a very rough area of Liverpool with some characters around during my walk back at 11:30pm, this didn't really bother me but it was not the safest of places to leave your car overnight! Had a pretty decent sleep but upon waking up in the morning I found blood stains on the mattress, they where down the bottom and thankfully not near my face! Tv didn't work, it appeared the wire had been cut and I have seen a lot of these comments! Shower leaked also but only had a quick wash before getting out of dodge!
Final note: My mates rooms heating was stuck on and he basically slept in an oven but said the bed was Fine.

Rooms quite smart
Rude staff. Two single beds pushed together so you fall between them when you turn over. TV had fallen off the wall and was hanging by the mains cable. Needs redecorating

Just location.
First of all my check in was supposed to be at 3pm, I arrived in reception at 2 30pm and the staff said my room would be ready ONLY AT 5pm. It’s totally disgusting after a 4 hours driving from my town to Liverpool someone says something like that. I’d been waiting at the reception area to my room get ready, and the receptionist said I couldn’t stay there as It wasn’t a waiting area. He said I had to leave the hotel and come back at 5pm. I didn’t have a place to go, if my room had been ready I would be in the room, not at the reception.
After all I entered in the room. It was the dirtiest room I have ever seen. I couldn’t believe that it was truth.
The bathroom was smelling really bad. The matters was terrible. The furnitures was older than mine grandma’s house. The floor was quite dirty as well. So, baddest experience I have ever had.

I liked checking out early
False advertisement the rooms were nothing like the pictures, the TV never worked the wardrobe was broken, the shower was filthy I had to as for cleaning products to clean the bathroom, the bedside lamp didn't work, the other guests were up late smoking weed and cigarettes and the owners don't care, I was greeted rudely by a member of staff whom opened the door and said "what".
you couldn't pay me to stay there
