Poor
The only thing i liked was the location. Hence the 1 star. Walking distance to Anfield, Goodison, Hill Dickingson and Liverpool City Centre. We went for a footy themed weekend with our 11 year old footie mad son! It also has 3 retail parks within a few minutes walking distance, which included many places to eat and a few supermarkets!
No staff. We needed clean towels (day 3) and no staff on location to get the towels. We waited a full day and had to chase for them! The phone numbers at reception for "urgent assistance" go straight to voicemail! Its above a boarded up pub. The building is old and dated. We had a broken window, mould on the walls, skirting boards covered in dirt. A tv with 2 channels (which kept glitching). When you ran the hot tap or flushed the toilet it made a racket for ages. Even if another room did, you could still here it as if it was in your room. This kept waking us in the middle of the night. The shower cubicle is tiny! To get a good wash, i had to leave the shower door open! They offer breakfast, which comes from a takeaway restaurant which they own, and you have to eat it in your room. We didn't have any, but we did see leftovers lying on the welcome desk.
